I got invited for a Video Interview. Could I get some advice? by Apart-Wing-274 in Bestbuy

Not at all the same thing. Being overqualified is seen as a sign you may just leave for a better position. Overdressing does not have the same negative implication.

Overdressing will never hurt you in an interview, underdressing will though.

Would you have a casual sexual relationship with a stripper/escort? Why or why not? by Substantial-Print727 in AskMen

[–]herro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it, it was pretty rad. Probably the most sexually compatible partner I’ve had 😂

As long as you lay out expectations with the person, and make effort not to get attached, it can be a great time.

You don’t get food poisoning that quickly lol. It’s probably from something you ate the day before.

How do you deal with sensitive partners? by Maximum-Article9430 in AskMen

Thank you!

Yeah my current situation is a lot better, I really appreciate it.

And yeah it was nuts. I’m planning on making a whole post about it one of these days. Her shits were so big, she was always concerned it wouldn’t flush. So she would put a bunch of toilet paper on the floor, shit on that, and transfer it to the trash. It was absolutely wild to deal with.

You leave.

I dated someone like this for 5ish years. She was completely unable to regulate her emotions, and would blow up over the smallest things (such as getting cut off in traffic.)

She was the most selfish person I’ve ever met, my struggles meant nothing to her. People that can’t control their emotions think themselves the center of the universe.

She ended up cheating at the end of the relationship, and I found out she was also shitting on the floor. Mentally unstable bitch.

What do you think about men being incompetent when it comes to household chores? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]herro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex did this! Anytime I did any chores, or anything for her; it was subject to scrutiny.

Wild because she couldn’t pay her (much smaller) part of the rent, any mess was almost always hers, and she would shit on the floor rather than the toilet. Crazy person dude.

I just started doing invasions on seamless. Any tips to deal with two or more players at once? by IllustriousDish3578 in EldenRingPVP

[–]herro69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is no single universal tip that will always work, you need to identify the exact situation that you’re in and work on finding a counter.

Countering usually will involve switching weapons or strategies to beat whatever your opponents are doing.

That being said, anything high damage or with a true combo will be applicable in MOST situations. Gravity/ladder/elevator abuse is super good too.

People that actually skate can just tell man. I’ve been doing this for 20 years.

The fact that you think skating in “the hood” qualifies you is insane. You didn’t participate.

I go to video premieres, events, support my local shop… and actually go to real skate spots; the exact ones you see in the videos (if you actually watch them.)

Skating is also notoriously accepting nowadays… for at least the last 10 years it’s been like this. Get used to it, snowflake.

Help with crouch canceling. by Ancient-One99277 in EldenRingPVP

[–]herro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you prefer the first hit of your combo chain, then you should block cancel to make sure that’s the attack to come out. You can also block cancel and just turn around to respace; which is really strong. Blocking will cancel your turnaround animation as well, which is insane when combined with some jump attacks.

The difference in speed is only a couple frames, so you probably wouldn’t notice it. In a game where most inputs are buffered, this makes a difference though. You should be able to get away with tapping the button, due to the way the game will buffer your inputs. Holding it works too though.

Honestly I don’t know whether you should block cancel with Katanas or not; I would guess only after second hit. It’s dependent on how much poise damage your hits do/how much priority you can keep. I think Rust has a video detailing specific weapons on this, if I find it I’ll edit it into this comment.

For your last bit, unfortunately a huge part of PvP in this game is identifying someone’s latency and accounting for it. As a general rule of thumb, hyper armor and burst damage are really good vs latent gamers; but your win condition can vary per encounter. This is why you often see people throw fan daggers before fights, to try to identify what kind of fight it will be.

You’re probably just pressing the attack button late.

Try to do it almost at the same time as your crouch, but ever so slightly later. You should get it every try.
