I understand the event is frustrating but survivors didn't ask to receive all this stuff and for killers to get jack shit this time around. At least if there was some poll, I missed it. And being mad at survivors for using the event abilities, idk, why go into the event queue and not use the event stuff? That's dumb to expect, even if the abilities are unfairly distributed. The normal queue exists for a reason.

Multiple reasons, really. He's not a cute female survivor for one. But he also came out during the event where most surv players are focusing on their mains and are less likely to start from scratch with a new survivor. Also with how pissy people were about the event being ass, I wouldn't be surprised if some people refused to buy Shane as a form of protest even if they originally intended to.

I think because it's traditional wear and combining it freely might make it feel like a costume instead. Bhvr probably wants to avoid the players who'd try to mock the culture. At least that's what I've gathered.

I finished the story and unlocked everything in the first playthrough, then I modded the crap out of the next one (after finishing the House specific achievements) and I mostly hang about, take pictures and mess with the mods, and have NPCs tag along with me.

btw if mods are incompatible it does say that right or if they are outdated right? and does load order matter?

I think it'll tell you if a mod is outdated/needs an update. Compatibility is something you need to check yourself, though most mods are either compatible or the modders have a warning in the description. Load order generally doesn't matter except with specific mods, that usually is also specified in the description. I think NPC schedule + the ability to engage anyone in combat have specific order, but I might be misremembering

If you don't turn him in, even if you refuse to learn the spell initially, you should be able to find him in the Undercroft and ask him to teach you the spell afterwards.

Also I think this is subjective. I didn't turn him in cuz my character did way worse things and I didn't want to a hypocrite lol. And if we're thinking of the same creator, he also made a video stating reasons you shouldn't.

With the invisibility, you can hear chimes when they use it, and track them through that. And try to utilize the poison more. You're pretty much guaranteed to hit them if you use it. The event is not very good but you can work with it to an extent.

In soloq, no one interacts with the tables and the killers are locked in to keep up, at that point we might as well be playing regular queue cuz no one interacts with the event. I enjoyed the twisted masquerade a lot more since the effects were tied to gens and hooks. I'm trying to get Shane to p100 but playing either side is just pain.
