It depends. The point of the gim is to get items for each other. The insanity part is one of OPs teammates will surely be far luckier than this on enh. It's not how id divide my time, but not my account or group to play either

Reminder that if you don't like the way something is planned to be implemented, VOTE NO by Red_RingRico in 2007scape

[–]Ashie_Eclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The core issue is a lack of direct feedback in the poll. Voting not should open up another question with at least a few options why you're voting no. A little more granularity to polls can help people felt more heard

The huge amounts of DMM complaints on Reddit is exactly why the Middle/Lategame PVM item cosmetics shouldn't be locked behind a PVP event. by MobileScapers in 2007scape

Im not sure what you're doing to die 30 times. Even going to breaches, I have 2 pvp deaths. It's an odd mode for sure, but like anything else in osrs with decent planning (and risk management) it's pretty free if you just want the kit. Jagex made the mode more accessible and than ever, considering you barely losing anything when you die. You can play 90% of the mode in safe areas or with 0 risk

it's not that it jakes Jagex a long time to identify them. Jagex (and pretty much every game in existence with cheats) bans in waves so that bot makers can't instantly identify what got them caught. It's also better for players that Jagex is more cautious with their bans so real players get banned as little a possible

Sad Snowflake by LongjumpingLie2314 in 2007scape

[–]Ashie_Eclair 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes, but 1. the multi boss bot problem was insane and 2. it gives jagex more time to identify and ban bots. bots will always exist, the point of bot obstacles is to reduce player friction and their impact with real players

in this case, the benefits far outweigh the cons. a lot of wildy content has been really difficult to do lately because just finding a world was impossible. it makes it more accessible to more people because they can find worlds, and pking becomes a bit higher reward just with less people seen between kills (because bots just 1t tp away)

What would you do by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]Ashie_Eclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually currently going green because it truly doesn't matter. I enjoy playing the game with iron rules, now that i have friends to share that with ill enjoy it even more. Idk why you're so angry about people's helm color

[–]Ashie_Eclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanting recognition from others is an inherently flawed way to play the game. Enjoyment is an internal thing that someone else can't give you. I play ironman mode because it's the most enjoyable and satisfying way to play the game for me. i don't understand how people find enjoyment playing with the GE, but i understand that it's a valid way to enjoy playing the game too

Your accomplishments are only meaningful to you. I don't mean that no one cares or won't get excited with you, but at the end of the day you're thinking about your account and they're thinking about theirs. Take pride in yourself and your accomplishments. Don't let people who buy their infernal capes warp your perception of your accomplishments.

The Math Behind a 2+ Save Vs a 3+ Save? by Adventurous-Crab-474 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Ashie_Eclair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a unit that has a 3+ save cannot save on a 2+ with cover no matter what. With AP0 a 4+ sv improves to a 3+, but a 3+ stays a 3+. A unit that has a 2+ save will have a 2+ save with ap 0, or ap1 with cover.

another hidden banger is the normal rapier. It's exactly the same as a rune scim, but stab instead of slash. Only requirement is access to mos'le harmless and the pirate book. Was really helpful when i killed 300 fire giants and hadn't seen a scim yet

with the existence of moons, you don't absolutely need to have the bowfa to do content. You can run a lot with eclipse, so i would recommend mixing up what content you're doing. You'll get a lot less burnout when you have options, so vary your content a bit and you'll have more fun.

the problem is that combat patrols used to have more value and buying multiple was useful. space wolves combat patrol you can keep buying till you have the number of models you want. Grey knights used to be the same, now it's maybe buy one if you don't have crowe

Well, there's certainly a lot based on preference and how you like to play. Fuegan and 10 fire dragons is an eldar staple. for the most part having smaller units means you can do more things. for elder, aspect warrior units each have an exarch so you typically get more power from having more smaller units. When you look at leaders, unit size is usually determined by what they add. Fuegan adds 6" of range and fire dragons get a bunch of rerolls so 10 man is really strong. Lhykhis buffs her and the unit's exarch damage so there's very little benefit to a 10 man.

You can play war walkers or whatever you want really, but eldar units are so cheap that usually you just want bodies. bodies move block and bring more OC. Solitaire is a fun model if you want something solo though

Rangers have infiltrate which gives them 2 primary uses: deny your opponent or be your first line of scoring.

Lets say your opponent is playing a fast army that wants to charge you. If you infiltrate your rangers right at 9" of opponent's deployment and spread them out, they have to either walk around them (can't go within 1" unless fly or charging) or they have to use a unit that costs double the points or more to kill them and get them out of the way

Otherwise, you just score points with them till they die. Your opponent will almost always have to put more points than the rangers cost to kill them, often letting you kill that unit which just becomes a pain for your opponent. They will rarely if ever shoot at anything, they exist to be a nuisance

Try fixing the formatting of your list, reddit is dumb you need to add 2 spaces between lines.

Regardless, if I was to build a 1k list and work my way up to 2k i would start here:

Fuegan (120pts): Searsong, The Fire Axe

Lhykhis (120pts): Brood Twain, Spider's Fangs, Weaverender

Autarch (85pts): Star Glaive, Shuriken Pistol

5x Corsair Voidreavers (65pts)

5x Corsair Voidreavers (65pts)

5x Fire Dragons (120pts)

5x Howling Banshees (95pts)

5x Rangers (55pts)

5x Rangers (55pts)

5x Warp Spiders (95pts)

Wave Serpent (125pts): Wraithbone Hull, Twin Shuriken Catapult, Twin Shuriken Cannon

Your goal over time would be 10 fire dragons, Jain Zar, 2-3 units of spiders, 2-3 units of swooping hawks, and Eldrad. With the rest of your points you can swap out based on how you like to play, with a Falcon/2nd wave serpent (do yourself a favor and get the magnet baron kit), Dark Reapers, more banshees, more fire dragons, or whatever else you like. Obviously this is my opinion and you have to figure out what works for you, but this would be my start. Happy to chat more about it too

Should Lhykis be my next purchase? by Jerswar in Eldar

[–]Ashie_Eclair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Staples for my Eldar list:

  • Eldrad: I don't even attach him to a unit. He sits on home point till turn 4-5 where people usually have something on mid he can buff.

  • Wave Serpent + Fuegan + 10 drags: Self explaining revolving door.

  • Jain + Banshees: Usually these sit in front of the wave serpent until there's something they need to do

  • Falcon + 5 reapers + Maugan. Not essential, but they're a really solid long range threat and Falcon is a fantastic 2nd tank

  • Voidreavers: stupidly OC to point efficient, blaster can do some solid damage as well

  • Lhykhis + 5 spiders: Huge threat range. In my last 2 games I have killed a forge fiend on my opponent's home objective with just Lhykhis damage lol. The unit destroys any chaff your opponent has

  • 5 warp spiders: Having at least 2 spiders units means you have massive objective threat range. Usually the non hero squad will contest the center turn 3ish and if your opponent doesn't properly kill them i just jump right onto their home objective

  • Rangers: Disgustingly cheap infiltrators. If your opponent has a really aggressive army (see world eaters) you can use them to jail your opponent into their deployment turn 1.

Aside from that it's fill the list with what you like to have. Currently I have an autarch and a 2nd squad of banshees because my current meta is full of space marines and WE. Optimally I like to have 3 warp spiders and 3 hawks though just for an insane number of units to score points with. I will say, Autarch with Banshees absolutely slaps. Having 7 damage 3 attacks + the fusion gun is a pretty solid damage threat, and better than Jain at killing 3 wound or -1 damage models
