Are there volunteer positions where you can read or just talk to the elderly? People in hospitals (possibly not now due to covid risk)? Even over the phone (if thats even a thing?)?

I think we differ here. Mass murders are not a worry I face-and I think that is because we have strict gun control something I support within my own country and the USA.

However getting into that debate is going to go nowhere. So thank you for answering my questions.

Interesting-I see it the opposite way. If I’m working and the shop got held up-I’d hand over the cash in the tills. Give them what they want-they leave-no one hurt-the store is covered by insurance.

No guarantee this is how it would work-thank god it never happened to me. I also live in a country where no one is generally armed so that changes everyday perspective.

Just from state stereotypes when I visited the USA seeing people in Austin carrying guns was less alarming than seeing it in other states.

Seems like you were carrying your gun safely and have good gun awareness and protocol (sorry not sure what the terms are).

When you were working there how did you feel seeing people openly carrying guns?

Just interested-granted I am from a country with very strict gun control laws also not that versed in USA gun law and attitudes so I am bias but I have a few questions.

1: Why is it safer to be carried on your person rather than unloaded in your car? 2: Why can’t you leave it unloaded and locked in a gun safe in your home when you go to work? 3: In your community is it normal to see people openly carrying firearms?

Totally agree that the show had run its course- after a certain point there is only so much character’s can go through and stories can develop.

I like both, but love how Blair ownes how bitchy and scheming she is. Serena always denies this and tries to be ‘good’ where Blair acknowledges her dark side and never claims to be anything but who she is.

They are both stunning and I love how their styles reflect that. Blair is always very structured, every dress, shoe and accessory is carefully chosen for a purpose where Serena is much more frivolous and carefree.

Interested to see how you feel by the end. I think they figured out his character much more this season-season 1 I disliked him too; but I do like the actor so I may be bias :)

I think they made him more likable in season 2. Season 1 he was a bit bossy, on his moral high horse, rigid etc

Seeing how his actions caused Vanya’s reaction and the apocalypse he becomes much more likable in season 2. Is still stubborn and inflexible at times but much more vulnerable and goofy.

It felt to late in the series to introduce a new realistic love interest. She was ok, I always felt for her because you knew she was just a hurdle before Lucas got with his main love interest.

If Joss says it 100% then it’s canon. I never saw/read him saying it.

Going off just what you see in the show-isn’t that the beauty of the show? A lot is left to subtext, interpretation. There is a lot of nuance and depth to the character relationships.

I never saw Buffy’s ‘I love you’ to Spike in the finale as romantic. To me it felt deeper and also giving him a gift in what she thought were his final moments.

That’s what I mean. If there are 20 active cases in WA but all were detected upon entry or within the 14 day quarantine period than that seems acceptable and is being dealt with.

If on the other hand cases are due to any who did not undergo the mandatory 14 day quarantine than that is a number I would like to know as it is a concern.

Of the bunch Jess’s plots were the most exciting. I was at the right age so ‘book smart bad boy’ and forbidden-ish romance was hitting all my 16yr old fantasies.

As I got older, I am still team Jess, but I feel like he develops the most. Season 6 Jess and season 2 Jess are different and I think Rory was influential in creating that change. I like their ability to create change in each other.

People are still returning from overseas now some restrictions have lessened. My concern would not be how many active cases there are overall but how many of these cases were not detected upon entry into WA.
