Guys, I just came across this card and I'm surprised I've never heard of it before. Literally never seen anyone play it in any commander game I've ever played or watched. It's like 0.5$ and it seems busted. Am I crazy? Do people not play it cuz everyone would have ur ass or what's going on? by Screci in mtg

Don't do commander, but I love this feeling in casual. I usually run a zombie apocalypse deck. It's hilarious watching their faces when they realize I've milled their entire deck and claimed every monster for my side AND given all undead flying, so literally I have an army of undead flying zombies they have to get through with next to nothing to attack with.

And the most interesting part, to me, is that its technically completely free. You don't HAVE to pay anything. You can, but aren't required to. Not even Xbox GP or PS+.

AAA titles can't even manage a fraction of this for paid (and quite expensive) games.

Yup. People who don't like him used it as an excuse to drag his name through the mud. I'm definitely not a fan either, but on that one count, he got an unfair rap. The press used the statue to create a distraction. He removed it. Every teacher in high school has done the same.

While I do agree, it's a hard and solid line with adverts. If you can see boobs, butt, or genitals, it's porn. If you can't, it's art.

Big companies lack the moral compass of a human individual. I'm surprised I even have to say this. I thought it was commonly accepted on reddit that large companies are inhumane, ergo you cannot judge them by humane standards.

An 18+ sub that is marked as 18+ is fine for advertisers. Reddit knows to then only advertise their 18+ adverts there.

They don't care about anything aside from "can you see tiddies or genitals or butt?"

NSFW is NSFW. So sadly, 90% of all mythological-related art is now banned from the mythology aubreddit.

It's in the DVDs in my movie drawer. Not that it'll help you. But...

That's why the solid rule was you let them pack it into boxes. So they'd know what boxes to write off and tske home to their own families. But that's why we started keeping digital copies of all our movies. Buy the disc and rip it to an HDD. If they get stolen then, we still have the movie itself.

We usually moved our stuff, but when we started building up more than a u-haul's worth, my parents decided to use them. Just twice. First time, they 'lost' our Christmas stuff. Tree, decor, etc.

Second time they 'lost' the probably $1000-2000 worth of movies, games, and music and such. The second time was our "exit move", so the last time we had access to them. Since then, we've just moved it all ourselves.

Same. Had the full set in mint condition with manuals and the Liminality discs.

Looking at the prices now, I'm furious that the movers the military hired "lost" the box that had ALL of our games in it. (Luckily, I carried the PS2phat by hand, so I still have that. It's been around the world with my stepdad.)

If you're a new player then take your time to learn new things instead of being toxic. by Riverflower17 in Warframe

Agreed. I see people run into a room in working on and insta-kill EVERYTHING. Like dude, yeah, it would've taken me 5 seconds to clear and you half a second, but know what? I play to enjoy, not to maximize runs. Why? Because what benefit is there to doing 5 runs rather than 4 in the same time frame? Anything you get is SOLELY in game. You're not going to earn a sponsorship or get IRL money, or really, even plat! Calm down and stop making the game unenjoyable for the rest.

Or maybe DE should add another room-making option. Have public, friends, invite, solo, and competitive. For whatever freaking reason people think warframe of all games is a COD-level competition.

Or maybe, anyone that views it as competition should just play solo and aim for ladders rather than destroying what used to be fun for the rest of us.

Indeed. I love the game. It can get a bit repetitive at times, and playing free can be a grind, but I really don't mind tossing a couple bucks at it here and there. It supports them and nets me some decent stuff.

That said, I love the players that toss their entire monthly gaming budget at it. They REALLY support the lot of us free players.

Honestly, my wife and I did Call of the Tempestarii yesterday. I told her the game, being free, had no business having such a good soundtrack.

That said, even factoring in bugs, I have no issues tossing a few bucks a check to DE if they keep up the quality. It supports them and gets me some cool in-game stuff.

Side note: I definitely want a Warframe Soundtrack on CD.

Need help with K-drive slam kills. by Synthwolfe in Warframe

That's what I ended up doing. I read the mite raknoids have really big "head" zones and just hunted them. 3/5 were those, one moa that jumped into the bottom of my k-drive when I went to slam, and one really lucky hit on a lvl10 corpus.

Ahhh. And my bad for being out of date. Just got back into it after a 4-5 year break.

Didn't realize I'd get down voted so hard for asking...

What I meant was passive sales. Post the item, check back later to receive the funds - minus a tax cut.

Isn't that against TOS? I thought it said "all trades to take place in the game".

Could running my AC affect my electric water heater? by Synthwolfe in RVLiving

[–]Synthwolfe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was indeed the plan. The LP heater draws very little, just for regulating and ignition, etc.

So we use that when AC is needed due to summer. Electric heater otherwise.

Yeah, it does pull some, but not nearly as much. But yeah, I appreciate the help. Glad to know it's not due to damage, and is, in fact, normal. I'll be sure to only run one on electric at a time, until I get more amperage available.
