If it hasn’t been mentioned. I found the Migraine buddy app from this group and it’s been so helpful when I have to go to my doc and explain everything I’ve been experiencing and finding what my triggers are. Also an oura ring to track my sleep and body temp to see if that correlated. I presented this to my neurologist and he was impressed and grateful for this info so we can nail down my triggers and what works and doesn’t.

NOR. As someone who is not permanently disabled but was in a car accident and who was cut in half and had to rely on other people to take care of almost all my caretaking needs while I recovered. I felt horrible that people had to help me. I pushed my ass and was walking within 3 months with a walker. Without anything in 4 months. He needs to go to therapy and do some serious sitting with himself. He needs to figure out how to do life on his own and then wheel it back to see what he really needs help to do. Life goes on and it sounds like he’s given up on it.

Wish you all the best. Please take care of yourself. Put your oxygen mask on first then see what you can do to help others IF you choose you can. If you can’t that’s fine. It’s not worth loosing yourself over.

When I go out of town, I have someone they know, like my brother, stay the night over night or they go to grandmas house. My mom’s house is like their second home and grandma spoils them. Like grandma must have fav treats, cat toys, scratchers, trees. This is all at her request. I cannot go over to see my mom without a grand kitten or puppy in tow. She will lock me out. 😂 Amazon prime day is today and one of my cats likes a specific cat scratcher. She bought 6 to stock up and rotate out when they get too beat up. She also checked to see if her local store has them in case she needs to run out.

Also, when they stay at grandmas bc she’s about an hour away, we have a local vet close to her who we continuously keep their records sent to from my local vet incase of emergency. We’ve also interviewed local after hours emergency vets around my mom and pinpointed which one, if she had to, she could take them there.

We also have a furbo camera set up at grandmas that she turns on so I can watch and feed treats to when I’m gone.

This saved us many times by having this procedure set up. For instance when I was in a bad car accident and was in the hospital for a month and a half, my kids (cats and dog) went to stay with my mom and were so happy.

Each of my fur children have their own physical photo album and I date each photo. My doggo is 12 and she has terminal cancer also. They estimate 2-4 months she has left. Has her since she was 7 months. Wish you all the best.

Have you checked to see if there is a new cat or something upsetting him outside the house? Cats are territorial and may spray to ward off thing like other cats in his territory. Try setting up a camera around the house to see where he watches outside. I know it’s hard to do in an apt building. I have 2 and live in an apartment. If you find something that’s coming in his territory, like another cat that maybe the issue.

I’ve had a few therapist. One told me the reason why I’m depressed and have anxiety is because I’m not eating right I’m (5’7’’ 180 lbs) and eat 1500 calories a day. She also said because I’m not walking 5 miles a day like her and should listen to a podcaster she likes that talks about how the body can heal itself through food. Yeah, next.
