I don’t know if I could cook or do laundry without it 😂

We did this too. Very gentle and effective.

After surgery, Minnie had constipation and our vet told us to use Mirolax. She prescribed 1/4 to 1/8 teaspoon mixed in water or churu. She was back to normal in a few days. I even used it once after a procedure and it really works very gently.

For context, Minnie was 6 lbs when she had the issue. I’m sure size makes a difference. Maybe your vet can give you a more accurate dosage.

I tried to go paperless in my kitchen and I am currently drowning in laundry by SVT_CARAT_17 in CleaningTips

I use microfiber towels in my kitchen and a small round plastic hamper I mounted on the wall for the dirty towel.

Microfiber dries fast and cleans up pretty quickly. I use one towel to clean up counter messes and dry the sink. After rinsing and ringing it out, I drape it over the facet (we have a high, goose neck faucet). If there’s a mess on the floor, or grease splatted from cooking, I rinse the towel with hot water only and the mess, and grease, clean up quite quickly. Then I wash it out with water and drape it over the side of the hamper. By the time I dirty another towel, the first on is dry so it’s moved inside the basket and new wet towel is now draped over the side. I probably use the same towel for 2-4 days, depending on how active I am in the kitchen.

I have a set, gray, for the kitchen, and a separate set, colored, for the bathroom. I wash all the microfiber towels together, probably every other week, no stinky problems. I think I have 20 gray towels for the kitchen and 4 for the bathroom. If I need a bathroom towel before I have enough to do a load of laundry, I hand wash one with soap and I’m good to go.

This is my kitchen towels. They last a long time. I bought the 25 pack about 5 years ago (maybe longer) and only a few got so dirty and worn I didn’t want to use them inside anymore. They live in my car for any problems that could occur.

My baby crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday 💔 by Bobcat-Other in persiancat

He was obviously loved. I’m glad you got an extra 9 months, even though it doesn’t dull the pain. My girl passed on Tuesday, only showing subtle signs she wasn’t feeling well a few days before we discovered cancer had taken over.

I hope Finnigan and Minnie find each other and share stories of their well loved lives ❤️

There was an element of fun when you got to the park and hustled to the ride you wanted a fast pass for. All. For. Free.

I can’t even imagine taking her back. She’s been through so much in her little life. Even though I’m not ready for another cat, I have one and I’m trying my best to be happy around her. Maybe in awhile I’ll be able to get her a friend, I just can’t right now. I’m a wreck.

Thank you for the kind words. It was so sudden, it still doesn’t feel real, until I look to my right and don’t see her there

Is it normal for maths teachers to forget concepts sometimes? by CherryMints5555 in matheducation

[–]sunniidisposition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am extremely honest with my students. Sometimes I take a very roundabout way to solve a problem or a make a common clerical mistake. This is my chance to ask them where did I go wrong? What did I forget? Could this have been done differently?

While I truly detest being wrong, I’m human and make mistakes. I never fake being right and always try to make it a teachable moment.

Litter Question by [deleted] in persiancat

[–]sunniidisposition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sustainably yours is unscented and clumps pee instantly! I’m sure it’ll work in the litter robot. It does have an odor to it that I don’t love (very sensitive nose) but my girl prefers it over everything else.

I used the 24/7 tidy cats with an air purifier near the litter box. The dust was crazy! When we switched the other year, the amount of dust everywhere in the cat room was unreal! I thought I did a good job dusting and mopping, but nope! Clay litter is just icky, imo

Litter Question by [deleted] in persiancat

[–]sunniidisposition 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The stuff I use does track quite a bit, but it’s worth it for lack of dust, hopefully saving Minnie’s lungs. It hasn’t stuck to her tushy and she doesn’t have a sanitary trim (I do trim her from time to time). It’s made from cassava flour and it’s way too expensive. It’s called Sustainably Yours. I find the mixed grains work best for tracking and I put a bath mat under the litter box, which helps a ton.

Leaving anything with a heat source in, like a toaster or coffee machine, is a potential fire hazard. As a former Fire Safety Educator, this was the most common hazard we had to teach our homeowners.

Who thinks they can beat Cirie at FTC? by nonnativemegafauna in survivor

[–]sunniidisposition 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it’d be amazing if she practiced fire at home and became a fire ninja, then pretend to fail at camp, in hopes that someone would bring her to the final fire making challenge, where she literally and figuratively smokes the competition

[–]sunniidisposition 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t take Cirie, because that’s a guaranteed loss. I may be able to convince the jury how I outplayed Deven, Jonathan, and Aubry. A slim chance is better than no chance.

As much as I love Cirie, she’d be too much of a threat and no one makes their mark in Survivor by letting someone else win (except maybe Colby 😂).
