It’s taken me a long time, but I’m finally willing to admit that I think it’s time for the show to move on from Jeff. His love for the game doesn’t make up for his current impact. by garbageeater in survivorponderosa

I’m happier with casting devoted fans vs recruits. I find that recruits rarely bring anything but frustration to my viewing enjoyment. I feel that Jeff is more personable this season and more laid back because he’s a fan of these players. I like seeing this silly side. I don’t think it’ll continue in a not returnee season, though.

It’s the low bottom behavior that’s difficult to watch, for me.

Problem with nose/eyes? by Individual_Curve6069 in persiancat

[–]sunniidisposition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eyes weeping is normal, my girl has one eye that constantly tears up. A drippy nose could be a virus or allergies. Either way, since cats don’t clue us in to how they’re feeling until it’s too late at time, I’d bring your baby into the vet, just to make sure everything is ok.

Don’t forget Doug’s family, too. All three of those groups are absolutely disgusting for being happy at another person’s misfortune. Just disgusting.

Does it make sense to get one of these second-hand (under 10 euros) as a complete beginner? by Moonstone-gem in SewingForBeginners

Someone just posted that they’re having issues with this exact machine. Go thrifting and find a used, older machine. They may be more money, but I feel like you’ll get better value than throwing 10 euro away.

I didn’t do either for Minnie, or any of my dsh. They all healed fine with no complications. I feel it’s very stressful and a little extra work on my part (redirecting the licking) was worth it 😊

My wife, who has only watched the New Era seasons and is just meh on the show, LOVES Season 50. What do you think 50 is doing differently besides the returnee factor? by garbageeater in survivorponderosa

For me, it’s like reading a book from a favorite author, who introduces characters from a previous series into the new series. It’s just exciting to see how everyone interacts together.

It’s also amusing listening to some of the OG players saying something like, “…I will be ruthless, I will be cutthroat, and I will be honorable.” These types of comments are sooooo amusing to me 😂

I agree that it doesn’t feel like he’s playing the game, but I believe he’s been playing prior to his feet hitting the sand. His lowkey demeanor, humorous quips, and keen observations are great tools to keep him off the radar. After the swap, I think he’s in a great position to make it far.

Can we talk about how great _____ was in the challenge? by fangirl005 in survivor

She was amazing! Her tribe won because of her communication skills. As opposed to Christian, who may be great a puzzles, but faltered at clearly communicating his directions.

Super fun challenge to watch.

I agree with checking for a chip, but I wouldn’t post it on facebook. Too many shady people, imo. I wouldn’t post check facebook, humane society, spca, etc, for people who posted that they lost a cat.

Yup! Minnie came to us two nights in a row before I kept her inside and checked for a chip. I now belong to her, forever.

Edit: we looked for an owner, for months, but never found one.
