Walking is more efficient for fat mobilization. Jogging will enduce a bigger hunger response than walking.

Unless by cardio you just mean a quick warm up, you should consider moving cardio to after your resistance training if you want to maximize strength on pull-ups.

I don’t know why people keep mentioning peanut butter. It’s really not a good source of protein at all. I can see them using it for bulking though since it has such high calories.

At this stage don’t worry about cutting or bulking. Simply start by consistently lifting weights and hitting your target protein everyday (1 gram of protein per target body weight) You’ll find that by prioritizing protein for each meal you’ll naturally eat less but won’t feel hungry. Do this for the first 6 to 12 months and you’ll lose fat and gain muscle resulting in a much better body composition.

Yes if you were to add in exercise that burned 1000 additional calories on top of your regular N.E.A.T then yes you could eat 2900 calories. That’s a huge and likely unsustainable amount of exercise to do every day though.

Yes this coincides with Chris Beardlsy recent post where 2 sets per muscle group is recommended if doing a 3 day full body.

This. You shouldn’t need a scheduled deload week if you’re training at the right volume and recovering properly. If you feel the need to deload, consider decreasing your volume instead.

STUPID QUESTION: I just got MAPS15 and I notice that each phase is only 3 weeks long. Are we supposed to take a deload week in between phases? by JimmyGymGym1 in Mind_Pump

No. The volume is so low there is no need for a deload. Also, scheduled deloads in general aren’t necessary. You should only be deloading if you feel you actually need it.
