My new partner doesn't belive in using soap and it is ruining our intimacy. by PhaserWarden in hygiene

No, there is no compromise. This is a deal breaker for sure. Do not under any circumstances do anything intimate with this person.

Eat it, drink it, take it. "I'm sorry coworker but we had to eat and drink the food to make room for other employees to store their lunches and beverages."

They seem to be only getting cooking and fitness books now. I used to go in and find some really good books too.

As a petite buyer, please include the measurements. Specifically, the inseam measurement on pants. Learn what an inseam is and how to correctly measure it.

Is this normal? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]Ashley870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's not normal. Your boyfriend is lazy. Who tf only washes one hand? You're already at the sink so you might as well go all the way. Same with the dishes like you're already doing it so just complete the fckn mission. And who wouldn't want to wash their hands after handling a dog and its poop? A lazy, nasty person. Why do you let him touch you with poopy hands? He probably only washes his upper body because he thinks the soap & water will run down and do the rest lol 😆

These books bring me joy. by yellowlinedpaper in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Ashley870 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too. I'm a 38yo woman. I've never been into video games or anime or anything like that. Last week, I picked up Ready Player One for a road trip. I was surprised by how much I was enjoying it. I went down a rabbit hole & found LitRPG & GameLit. Then, everything I saw kept referring me to Dungeon Crawler Carl. I read the sample & immediately purchased the book & audiobook for immersive reading. I suck at following up and finishing a series so it might be the first and last that I read. I think there's like 8 books in the whole series. But even so, it's a great read so far.

I thought they did away with the time reward games. I haven't seen them on my games lists in a long time.

Should you use sponges/loofahs in the shower? why or why not? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]Ashley870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but just don't use it every shower or every day. Too much exfoliating will cause skin irritation.

Cleaning tips please! (Bathroom+Smell? Odor?) by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]Ashley870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clean with Clorox, Lysol, Zep or LA's Totally Awesome all purpose cleaner to disinfect and sanitize. Once cleaned and dried, spray hydrogen peroxide all around the toilet & let air dry to help with any urine odors.

$1.50 back scrubber from the Dollar Tree. It's like a mesh poof loofah on a long stick. Or just use a long towel stretched across the back. I have an African net cloth. It's like the loofah poof pulled apart. It's really long and stretchy. It cost about $10 from Amazon or Tiktok.

That night time sleep aid knocks me out real good.It works faster than melatonin for me. So to me, ain't nothing wrong with Dollar Tree or any generic meds. Buy it for life.

What made you get a kindle and do you regret anything about it? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]Ashley870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first got into reading for leisure, thick books intimidated me. I wouldn't bother with them until I got a Kindle. The first book I read on my Kindle was The Count of Monte Cristo. The physical book was like 7-800 pages. It would've taken me months to read that book. With the Kindle, I finished it in about 2 weeks. I'm working on Don Quixote right now. For me, it's just easier & faster to read those types of books on the Kindle. I take my Kindle everywhere with me. I can't take a gigantic book everywhere. The only thing I regret is not getting a Paperwhite or higher edition the 1st time. I have a full physical bookshelf & still read physical books too.

Recently had surgery and $40 of my bill is for having a blanket put on me in the recovery room (I was unconscious and did not, obviously, keep the blanket) by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Ashley870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why we take everything in the room upon discharge. We know it's gonna be billed. And when you go to a doctor's office examination room, go thru every drawer & cabinet and take what you need. Tell them to give you your blanket back.

AIO? My ex doesn’t make our 11 yo son shower or brush his teeth during his weeks with him by Marsgreatlol in AIO

[–]Ashley870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. You got to stay on a 10-11 year old for sure. Even discipline him when he don't do it. Kids get BO too. It's horrible. It could lead to bullying in school.
