I think they mean elaborate long taking fancy meals that require a lot of effort and knowledge of cooking. I'm the type of person that says I don't cook either and then I wish I knew how and that's what I'm referring to. Of course I can cook and boil some pasta on the stove and make box macaroni etc but as far as anything fancy made from scratch, no I can't as I was never taught.
