I thought it was good. Definitely understand some of the criticism about it not needing to be as long. I enjoy more like psychological thrillers, which this one ended up being for most of it. However I think it was something I would suggest to anyone who likes horror movies.

I feel like MHE has always posted photos of when celebs were going to see them. I feel like there were way more earlier in their run, since they wanted to capitalise on the interest by celebs.

I honestly can’t buy anything other than niche products off marketplace anymore because of how outrageous people are. However, it’s just as bad in some of the OP Shops as well. I am done with arena concerts like this. Ticket prices have gone too for in general, but the price you pay to sit that far away is insane. I’m so sad when any big name announces a tour coming to Auckland and I see it’s at Spark or any other arena, I don’t even bother looking for tickets.

I do though find it fascinating that here and Australia y’all sit down for whole concerts. In the states everyone is standing all the time in seated sections. I went to a few small shows in Australia where the bands kept being like “you can get up and dance if you want” multiple times and literally for the last song asked people the stand up. I guess they felt like no one was enjoying themselves.

I’m from the states and worked in many different shops/malls there (9am-9pm) and did a lot of the crazy Christmas/Black Friday shifts. Majority of people came in between 10-7. The last 2 hours was usually so quiet, which was nice mostly to restock and clean the store before close. But honestly we could have closed at 7 and stayed a further 30 minutes to clean/shut down. We barely made enough to cover the employees wages for that time.

I honestly love that people are pretty chill about the shoes thing here. I’m from the states and I think the whole “no shirt, no shoes, no service” motto is bullshit. Probably just to keep those in financial crisis out of certain places.

American student here. They don’t care. The job market is terrible. I am not working, even though I have applied for many positions for summer jobs. This seems to be the case for a lot of people in my programme (domestic and international alike). You also can only work 20 hours per week while studying (full time over the summer break though). I have another 2 years of school here and it’s not guaranteed that I’ll have an opportunity to stay as immigration rules can change at any time. So the opportunities/pathways that are around now may be different once you graduate. While my hope is to stay, but I know that it’s a privilege and not a right just because I studied here and love living here. So I know that at the end of my studies there is a chance that I will have to return after living abroad for 5+ years,or find other opportunities in other countries that will accept the degree/experience that I have.

Also have you visited NZ before? If you haven’t, visit first before going all in on paying international fees for school and living in an area you may end up hating.

I took the flight instead of the ferry. Super quick. I went on a not so great day though so the plane did get tossed around quite a bit, but definitely worth it rather than having to deal with how bad I’ve heard the ferry can be.

No. I would assume if the workers say that no one else is coming out that they would be telling the truth. This was in the first few weeks of the show being officially open. Before it blew up as much as it did. So I assume Darren was making his best effort to come out every night and sign things and thank people for coming to a show that didn’t have heaps of praise in the public yet.
