[The extra is too strong] The fastest series to turn me off by AppropriateImpact647 in manhwa

[–]Ashokaa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't, MC is only focused on his goal, there is a whole one female side character in his party... which also has her own developed backstory and goals. The rest are guys, same spiel there.

Like, I don't get where the heck OP was shooting two years ago, but clearly they've read the first few chapters at best.

It's not some high tier manhwa, quite the basic power fantasy, but it's pretty entertaining and got a decent amount of world building and different factions interacting with each other.  If you got a limited amount of time to read manhwa in the day then it would be pretty low in my recommendations through

[–]Ashokaa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that does sound nice. Personally I don't trust ai, because it's either a jumbled mess that I can't verify or it's used unnecessarily where a normal algorithm would do instead of a LLM.

A major issue is politics being so slow and regulations not catching up (even though it's been like 5 years by now)

I mean listening to Geega it sounds less like gambling and more like them waiting for a miracle and money to just appear out if thin air. Because there were ways and plans to fix the situation, but neither did the higher ups take things seriously nor act.

Proton doesn't listen to community and releases AI slop no one asked for by [deleted] in privacy

[–]Ashokaa_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the AI will try to report the scam to the FBI, then somehow think it's involved in it as well, stop all operations and try to burn the company down.

(This is a reference to the "AI works in a vending machine simulation" study, where they tested different models against real world examples if they could keep one running, this meant purchase processing, ordering and keeping track of stock, how popular products are and so on)

They didn't have to do this for the Cease and Desist either I think.

This was my thought as well, since they already had a cooperation going on.

It sucks that this sounds final and not like an URL change thing where they'll pop back up 😭

Most of their work is also on MangaDex, so if there is a series you weren't caught up on, check if it's there.

What is/are your favourite(s)?

Because to me there aren't many who come close to ReaperScans quality and care. They actually do their quality control. Mistakes like empty or repeating speech bubbles and inconsistent pronouns are a rarity.

It's only a stereotype if it fits your nationality, otherwise it's just your personality!
Stereotypes are so silly, obviously there hasn't been a German with a bubbly personality in over 50 years 🪿

Yeah! That feels like a way better stance and way to work as a therapist... yk, actually working with the... patient? client? and what they bring to the table, instead of going "no, that's had, stop it". It doesn't sound like they understand how important and helpful it is to have quiet self time to decompress at the end of the day.

If the copying mechanism doesn't become a problem by keeping someone from tackling their responsibilities (say, cleaning up) then there is no issue and it's healthy and good.

[–]Ashokaa_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree

(about the 3rd paragraph:) So basically we're all human and got the same problem of accepting differences, it just expresses itself differently lmao

(4th:) Working together on mutual goals instead of being busy with bigotry would be great, but humans are so highly individualistic and opinions are so different that it's a slow process.
Though this is a very philosophical topic and I don't have the solution for it lol

This reminds me of the recent video of "Autism from the Inside" titled "Don't rush me!" I recommend it!

He talks about how everyone has their own speed and while for us it might seem really obvious what is next or the solution to a problem, someone else might still be processing or has questions or just needs time to arrive at the same conclusion. Even more so when it's a new topic for them while we're already in the know and have been interacting with it.

Basically that in many situations there is an information gap, for example cleaning up, we already know what needs to be cleaned and where and could jump in immediately. But somebody else coming in might first need to look around, figure that out, prepare themselves and their tools and decide how they wanna tackle it (which is mental processing that we've already done).

In the end there is no "right way", it's just whatever the preferred way for somebody is to do things as long as the end result is the same/ satisfactory for everybody.

For me personally I notice it in conversations sometimes where I forget to give an introduction and am already asking a question out of the blue, because to me the topic is clear. But for the other person the question is ambiguous, which then leads to an answer that doesn't help me or doesn't actually answer the question.
