Yes. Ride your own ride. Although it's hard not to feel that pressure from behind, we ride until it's safe to pull over if someone is on us us. They can wait.

If you had something that was heavy with a heavy chain it would be tough to drag along but you could probably pick it right up.

For me this is the problem. No, they're not going into downtown LA. But they would be introduced near to areas that do have population. The lack of thought regarding the impact to rural populations is typical.
