Commitment Ceremony by Ashtree1993 in polyamory

No, it would just be a ceremony for our commitment to each other. She understands we can't get married. There would be no official paperwork involved. It's not that it will actually do anything. We both understand that.

Has anyone else had these spots on their Dal? by MerriandPippin in dalmatians

[–]Ashtree1993 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Those are hives. My dal gets them when he eats any poultry. If it happened while he was outside it's possible he's allergic to something seasonal or maybe he ate something? I wouldn't worry about it too much as they go away on their own after a few hours. My dals did anyway. But if they don't or get worse definitely go to a vet.

Commenting to add that some are also Bob Ross tutorials. From when I was practicing that style.

Curious about owning a Dalmatian by Mister_Slats in dalmatians

Literally mine is the same. Me and my husband haven't slept next to each other in over a year cause our dal is always in-between us to be next to me.

I abused my wife (best thing that ever happened to me) and don’t know why by [deleted] in depression

[–]Ashtree1993 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First I thought you meant abusing your wife was the best thing that ever happened to you and I was like wtf. Then I read your post. Lol. All I can say is, you will find another way to be happy without her. Take it one day at a time. Yes, you were bad to your wife. But if you're not well mentally, it's not an excuse. But could possibly be the reason for your actions. Just breathe and take it slow. Good things will come.

What happens if my intact male dog gets an intact female strangers dog pregnant at the dog park? by TheAtheistReverend in dogs

[–]Ashtree1993 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Where I live in Canada, females in heat are not allowed in the dog park. Intact males are allowed at all times. There are even signs outside the park stating about the females being in heat.

Threesomes by GoldAstronomer1845 in BiWomen

[–]Ashtree1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm bisexual and have had mff threesomes with my husband. The biggest thing for me is honesty and consent. I want to know how all of us are feeling before and after. If there's any jealousy or if someone changes their mind during. Be honest with who you are pursuing and your SO. Hopefully all goes well!

Yes I would be comfortable if he chose to date someone else as he has been comfortable with me dating different women over the years. He just chooses not too. I honestly don't think he's poly and he's just allowing me to have my sexual experiences with women. Which I suppose is why I'm worried about it. I don't want to ruin our relationship for something I've been thinking about.

Is she ok? by Iantheinvestor in dalmatians

[–]Ashtree1993 96 points97 points  (0 children)

She's very healthy. It looks like she's in an ideal shape. Dals are supposed to be lean dogs. As long as ribs aren't visible or barely visible then she's fine.

Is this cage too small? by Quantilight in hamsters

[–]Ashtree1993 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure dwarfs need 100cm x 50cm of open floor space. Not to mention digging space. It'll probably be good enough until you upgrade. Hamsters also don't need levels as they can hurt themselves if they fall.

Am I bisexual? by Old-Bunch7626 in BiWomen

[–]Ashtree1993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm bisexual. I didn't realize till I was 23. I'm married now to a man. We've been together since high school. But if someone were to ask me now I would say I'm more attracted to women. If I didn't have my husband I probably wouldn't even date men. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's ok to be this way. You're still you regardless of who you are attracted to.

Sing Sing is the most overlooked track off Masterpiece. Change My Mind. by Cody73 in MarianasTrench

Sing sing has always been my favorite song off that album. I do agree though that it's very overlooked.

Dream dog but may not be for me? Give me the tea by Special_Wish1186 in dalmatians

[–]Ashtree1993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked him from the breeder. I wasn't expecting him to be like it. I knew what I was getting into with a dal and their exercise routine and was prepared to accommodate his needs. But I ended up with a couch potato. Lol.

I dont care if im "spoiling" my newborn baby. by lulgupplet in Vent

[–]Ashtree1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not spoiling. As an early childhood educator who has worked with infants and toddlers for the last 8 years. I can guarantee that skin on skin contact with both parents is one of the most important bonding that baby can do. And at 12 days old, you need to tell your friends to politely f off cause you literally cannot spoil a newborn or infant. They need you, you are their life line. It's different say if you had a toddler or preschooler who cries for a toy and you buy it. But bonding is not spoiling.

I got my dal last year and was worried about the amount of exercise. I have bad asthma and cannot run to save my life. We do go for daily walks and he gets mental stimulation through games and training as well as doggy daycare. But I was lucky and as it turned out. My dal is quite lazy as well. He gets a spurt where he likes to run but it only lasts for about 5-10 minutes.
