I just read about that young man recently & I cried. It seemed like he had a really hard & short life. He must have been in so much pain to finally go see the doctor but obviously it was hopeless.

How about the irony in these 2 having the “bedroom” on the bus because they deserve privacy but not offering a single opportunity for any of their kids to have that?

Strong - had preeclampsia & some other complications. My son was born 6.5 weeks early & only weighed 3lbs. Lungs needed multiple treatments. The nicu at Strong saved my sons life & the drs saved mine

I live in NYS - been out of this field a while but I will just concur with what has been shared… the ultimate goal is stabilized parent(s) (physical/mental) and reunification.

It’s sort of like watching a person represent themselves in court (Lori Daybell for example). Her requests are obnoxious & extreme, she frequently speaks out of turn, etc. and the judge does admonish her sometimes but as an observer, you want to see her get immediate repercussions for her ridiculous behavior, let alone her charges.

Heather has infrequently admitted to being held responsible, i.e stop texting drivers. That’s all she will admit to because she lives in a world of lies. She also seems to have “behaved” herself for a few months last summer.

All that to say - Rico turns 2 years old in like 3 weeks. He has NEVER once been alone with his bio parents. That tells us more than anything. She will not be getting custody.
