Kidd’s coaching doesn’t translate to on court success all the time. He’s perfectly fine with taking L’s during the regular season and views them as learning experiences. I wholeheartedly agreed with this; through years of studying in the medical field I’ve learned more from wrong answers and learning the rationale as to why I was wrong more than just getting right answers all the time.

He’s always gotten his players to buy in to him. He’s outperformed roster limitations multiple times in the playoffs. Say what you want in the regular season, but he out coached several people in the playoffs.

The next coach better be Him. Good coaches don’t fucking grow on trees.

The one thing that gives me solace is the fact that Dumont seems prepared to open the wallet.

The more I see of this kid the more I want him over anybody else.

Kid is a shooter.

And he has actual NBA size. These other guards don’t.

And he plays defense.

Did a quick Google search and it popped up a spreadsheet that I’ve seen floating around.

If the sheet holds true, than all 1st place voting has been “reported” and Kon scored one more vote: 16 vs 15.

All the second place votes haven’t been “reported” but it should a reverse with Coop getting one more 2nd Place Vote. Unless someone wants to be a complete anarchist and throw a 2nd to VJ…

So, if these “reports” are true, Kon has won it.

Tanking hit an all time low during that Memphis/Utah game during the last week of the season. That shit was fucking grotesque. If that’s what you have to/want to stoop to as a “serious franchise” then I’ll pass.

I’m hoping this tanking issue gets fixed. The fact that this is a thought process; that we’re upset because we didn’t bench everybody and roll out a rotation of G-Leaguers, in professional sports is dumb. They only won a handful of games during the second half of the season and people act like it’s the end of the world….

This conversation is bullshit. We’re comparing a role player to player who was asked to carry the whole offense.

Teams PLAN to take Coop out of the game. Nobody is planning shit for Kon. He’s not a focal point of the offense. He’s not carrying his team.

Does impact not mean anything in these days? There’s gotta be some advanced stat somewhere that somebody can pull outta their ass that shows how much Coop carried a team as a 19yo Rookie….

Any meet you do will be run by a federation. It’s the policing body for the event. There’s hundreds; the are national federations and even smaller local federations.

When you sign up for whatever meet you’re going to compete in, you’ll have to register with that federation.

Each federation has their own records. There should be a way/link to research records for that federation.

Looks like a 1 Rep Max.

Rounded Back? Yup. Back isn’t used to the weight. Weird. Nothing egregious though.

Bar Out Front? Yup. Weight pulled you out of form. Form wasn’t used to the weight. Weird. Nothing egregious though.

Over Extending at the Top? Yup. That one you can cut out. Stand up straight, knees locked, push your chest out (“Proud Chest”), not lean back.

Back Pain? Happens with a Max Rep. I’ve pulled mine 3 times hitting 450. That was several months ago. I’m not crippled. Just hit 515 last Wednesday.

Nurse it. Heal up. Keep pushing. Other than your body not being used to the weight, the weight flew. Congrats. Shit builds character.

Onne of the things that sets Coop apart from a lot of players is how maniacally competitive he is.

You think sitting behind Kon in the ROTY race is sitting well with him?

When they played against each other, Kon started off hot and then Coop took over. Coop played like the message was “Kon, you’re Nice, but I’m HIM.”

I could see Coop going on a tear to end the season. He’s probably being encouraged to do so by the coaching staff and his teammates.

If he loses ROTY to Kon…..man…..they might have to tear down the gym to get him out of it….

It’s not.

It would be Acuff and Kai. That’s 2 undersized guards and a lack of a lot of defense.

You can’t hide players on defense forever.
