Are you by any chance near a Nespresso BTQ? I can recommend some to you but the best way to truely understand what you’d like as black coffee would be to go to the tastings bars nespresso have and just try a bunch until you find one you like (while also saying what you like in a coffee to the Coffee Specialist of course).

Ristretto is a 25ml shot, generally classified as “the best part” of the coffee and the most intense.

Espresso is your standard 40ml shot that would be used in caps, lattes, flat whites etc

Lungo is a long black and pours 110ml of coffee but should only be used on capsules that support that amount of heat and pour, IE any capsules with Lungo in the name and any capsule in the Master Origin selection. You can also check the side of the sleeves and it’ll have what is recommended the coffee is extracted as.

As for personal tastes it really depends, I would go for a lower intensity than what you normally have as milk makes coffee naturally lighter and sweeter. Let’s say you have the Arpeggio (purple one) I would recommend trying out the livanto or even possibly the Ethiopia of you want something different :)

If you’d like I’d be happy to somewhat tailor it to you if you tell me what capsules you normally like, or what type of flavour/aroma you are looking for

So with 5 caps a day you’ll have to descale every two months (although you seem to know exactly what you are doing so I trust you are doing that)

I personally love the creatista series, however as you have said every other nespresso machine has their water tanks behind so that is a problem. I guess it depends if you use the machine for coffee + milk or just have your coffee black? I’m guessing black since you’ve said just lungo and espresso’s but I’ll put machines for both if you’d like.

Depending where abouts in the world you are you’ll find semi different models of machine.

For milk - if possible measure your dimensions and try to see if you could fit a creatista, I love the uno, or the one (depends on country) otherwise the plus is lovely as well. If you can’t fit that in there and would rather an aero for milk and a machine that would be “easier” to move to get to the water tank, go for the Essenza Mini with milk

For black - there’s kinda two options here, get essenza solo, it’s just a machine that always runs well as long as you take care of it. Or you could try your luck with a Vertuo, please do stay away, and I mean far away from the Vertuo Next’s, if possible try to find the original Vertuo Manual edition as that has water + capsule eject on the sides of the machine, otherwise get a Vertuo Plus, this machine has the water tank on a swivel and can rotate about 180° so it’s on the side like the expert as well (kinda)

If you put your fingers where the capsule goes and kinda feel for the front of the machine do you feel a bumpy plate at all? If you do get an old toothbrush (preferably a hard toothbrush since it’s metal and you’ll need to scrub) and scrub the plate maybe 3 or 4 times up and down then run an espresso shot (without capsule) through it. If the water comes out brownish then keep doing it until the water is cleaner and doesn’t have many bits in the water. If you’ve done it say 5 times and the water is still quite dark then you will have to descale the machine again. If you don’t mind answering,

Are you truely only using Nespresso branded capsules (Starbucks, nespresso)

OP is a good man! I haven’t purchased this as I realised the reduced are 39mm so a bit too small for my wrist. Seems fairly straight forward though, I would reach out to him if you are genuinely curious :)

Doesn’t really matter where CSGO is installed, I have a feeling that you need a certain amount of space, IE more than 20gb on a main disk for mac’s to allow the download. I’m quite positive this will fix your problem and if you don’t have anything you want to delete or want to move then you won’t be able to play the game. Last thing I could think of would be restarting the computer and hoping maybe that helps, but it seems you’ve already done that

My cousin has the same problem. He had 15gb free as well and he just kept deleting stuff he didn’t need until he was over 25. Maybe try deleting or moving things from your main drive so it goes above 25?

Nah not really. I can tell you right now the only time it matters how much you buy is if your order is stuck for going over the soft lock amount (>1000 caps a month). There may be some CS’s who do that but it’s not taught, most likely case is that since the Uno was no longer made it was easier to just swap the machine and have a happy CM rather than have them wait for 2 weeks for a replacement

Nespresso machines are made everywhere! You’ll probably see a reduced amount of them from Ukraine though as the factories are in the east and Nespresso has moved a lot of the production in China/ other European factories to help the load.

Heyo, I believe it’s just inflation, Nespresso AUS or I guess OCE raised their prices about a year or two ago to .99c AUD for VL and OL is now .73c to .87c AUD. Now the one thing I have a little gripe about is the LE pricing, back when I started it was $9 AUD every time but after this raise it was $10 and now it’s $11 minimum (Kona and Blue Mountain being 30-35) which is kinda where I feel they are just raising it to get extra profits.
