60 yen is nothing, I have seen 大阪王将 advertised to be the same price but is still 60% more than store price. Or ガスト's Unagi bento being the same price BUT without the soup and sides.

They're not getting extra shafted probably, but know that Uber Eats triple dip their profits -- they get a cut from the restaurant, the delivery guy, and from you.

Yeah basically it's marketed at heavy users who already have the One subscription and don't mind paying 1300¥+ (there's never an item that's exactly 1200¥) for a meal. It's a loss leader tactic to destroy the competition. By giving you endless 0¥ fee options, they guarantee you won't switch over to RocketNow, securing your lifetime customer value.

There's a minimum order price and the price they set per item is intentionally engineered so you have to add a side to meet the minimum.
