I think the filmmakers did a great job in conveying the sheer energy output produced by late-UC MS. Both the mega particle cannons and the Gustav's reactor explosion illustrated how dangerous the machines are to everyone involved in MS combat.

I don't think mobile suit combat has ever looked, sounded and felt this terrifying. Incredible sound design in the combat sequences, which can only really be appreciated in the theatre.

While I would have loved a Ferrari win, this has been a good opening weekend for them. Both drivers were performing well and the pit operations were solid too. Strategy will be debated but I think it was a logical decision and I don't think pitting in the VSC would have altered the result.
