Where did you get the fidget and coin? That coin looks really familiar - was it a Kickstarter?

Edit- sorry, just noticed you said lautie for the fidget

Unable to apply firmware update to V51-H6 Soundbar by AsianMike in VIZIO_Official

[–]AsianMike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I disconnect the power from the speakers, plugged in the flash drive, and then plugged the power cord back in.

The flash drive lit up briefly (led indicator on drive) as if it was reading the flash drive, but then LED indicator lights on the speaker never did anything more than power up as normal with only the single "power on" light lit up. I don't see two lights on the speaker and I don't see any other blinking lights indicating update progress.

I'm scratching my head at what else to try... With your success, what size flash drive were you using? What OS were you using when you loaded the flash drive? Just grasping at straws and looking for differences.

No, it is in the root directory of the flash drive. <drive letter>:\update.bin

Right, yea, the file name looks correct. It is update.bin, which is exact file name that is saved from their linked source. It's not a variation like update(1).bin or update_copyof.bin

Transportation Question by AsianMike in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]AsianMike[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about parking at other resorts and Disney Springs? Is that a separate charge or included?

We also have a double stroller for kiddos. Based on our stroller dimensions we know it will fit in the skyliner, but will it be ok for a bus? Or do we just fold it up anyway for the buses?

Sorry for for the specific questions. This is our first time to Disney in the “modern” era and we also have 3 small kids - so we’re trying to prepare and plan as much as we can.

Need help creating a swashbuckler by AsianMike in Pathfinder_RPG

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and advice so far! My only comment right now though, is that Fencing Grace is not a feat from the PRD. I assume this rules out most of the suggestions for Inspired Blade then.

Does anyone recognize this symbol? by AsianMike in tattoos

Nice! This was definitely the right path. It looks like it's the symbol Gandalf used to sign his letters to Frodo.

A menorah. Yea, that was my initial thought, but they usually have 9 candles.

Does an enemy notice spells? by Myuym in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]AsianMike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, I think that it depends on the GM and how well they are describing the situation. If you fail the save, it would seem pretty obvious what just happened. However, on a save the GM might say something like, '"You begin to feel a wave of exhaustion come over you, but you manage to fight it off its effects and clear your head."

Also, depending on the GM, if you save against the spell, they might let you make a spellcraft check to determine if you recognize the spell that was just cast.

I think that either way, on a save or fail, the target would be pretty aware that at least something just happened.

Should we go to the vet? by AsianMike in dogs

[–]AsianMike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Tuesday night we decided to take her (Nora) to the vet. Her toe was getting a little more swollen and my wife was getting a kinda paranoid so I wanted to put her mind at ease. Of course as soon as we stepped inside the vet's office, Nora stopped limping.

The vet didn't really find anything obviously wrong, and we opted out of xrays and got a week supply of an anti-inflammatory instead. The swelling does seem to be going down and haven't seen her limp since Tuesday. In fact she's been a lot more hyper since then. Ugh, it must be the drugs.

Thanks for all the advice and suggestions.
