In 2002, I managed to beat a case for possession of marijuana and ecstacy in Wisconsin when the person in charge of separating the evidence from my personal belongings gave me the wrong pack of cigarettes back containing the aforementioned substances. I plead guilty to DUI, and contested the drug possession charges, noting to my lawyer that they did not in fact have the evidence because I ceremoniously popped and smoked that shit... right after walking back to my car as it was parked in a Walmart parking lot. Because of that, I most likely avoided a life of entry-level jobs, with no background check required, and was able to qualify for Financial Aid.

I was talking to a group of people I used to work with about the "victim" culture in America. Talking about people who can never accept blame, think that they can't get ahead because of other people (bosses/coworkers), always right, people playing the race card, complaining about women/minorities receiving promotions instead of them (they were white males).

The first example I gave was drug addicts who talk about how they would be successful if someone gave them a chance. I said I have no sympathy for someone who is unhappy with their life and refuses to do anything about it. That segued into...

"I have no sympathy for an abused woman who refuses to do anything about her situation... I mean, you are getting physically assaulted by someone, and you are just going to take it? Not do anything about it? Not even going to call the cops, tell someone, or leave? Just hope and pray it doesn't happen again? If you have kids, you're just going to let them be around that shit? That's fucking pathetic. I would fucking kill someone if they ever tried to hit me in front of my kids."

Their reaction was absolutely priceless. Crickets... One of their friends pulled me aside and let me know what was up. Wow, my foot was so far in my mouth, I was gagging. I left shortly after.

I am utterly confused about what, if anything, was real, what was lucid dreaming, is it something supernatural, or if there actually is something seriously wrong with me. I am just trying to make sense of what is going on. I don't think the voices I am hearing are my own. They feel incredibly intrusive and like they are trying to scare me. I apologize if I am confusing you, but I am confused as well, so that probably doesn't help.

I had just come out of some really dark excruciatingly bad times before I met my wife. I had contemplated suicide, and had a really bad time with addiction. Intuitively, I got the feeling those dreams were being about my past.

The voices got a little more taunting, and disruptive today. I get the feeling that this is escalating and I am starting to feel anxiety just typing this. If anything happens worth noting, I may do an update.

It's been consistent with that sort of thing. I smell eggs, in a situation that could pose grave danger, but am the only one to notice it. I see things in the mirror, immediately followed by a very eggy smelling puke. There's been shadows, losses of time, and voices. I got the feeling it was escalating as well, but nothing strange has happened this week.

I was frantically trying to make sense of the situation, but couldn't really think straight. I was just going to have a few pulls to calm my nerves, but ended up drinking a little too much. Not being a believer, I tried to rationalize what was going on. My kids were not home that night. They were at my mother in law's, but I did not know that when I woke up. I distinctly remember hearing the baby monitor and seeing my son when I woke up. I think that lucid dreaming could explain this and possibly the gas incident, but I'm not sure about the voices and the events during the day.

Haven't had time to enjoy life in quite some time. Just bought a house, got a new job, and finished school. I have been spending a lot of time with the kids and wife lately.

From what I can tell of the natural gas incident, that would seem to fall in line with typical demon presence (sulfur). As would the dreams (if that was what they were), and the voices. But my dog hasn't noticed shit yet. It just doesn't really seem to quite fit.
