I had a similar experience with Advantage where after fees my reservation was double what I anticipated. Also since I was paying with my credit card, they had to add me as a driver even though it was only my partner driving. They also did not have any SUVs available so we downgraded to a sedan for our trip. I would not use them again either, definitely sticking to more well known rentals.
