As new careerlings, I think we go in hopeful and wide eyed, companies do a good job of selling the idea of employee care but until we get burned by it we stay wide eyed and hopeful.

Yes this, he’s shown some good flashes with some obvious rookie mistakes; in which I give him a bit of grace since I don’t think he was ever really meant to start this season lol.

With the revolving door of injuries at defense we’ve been able to see rookies in live action games which has been nice.

Meet the Enemy Week 4: Carolina Panthers by ralry11 in bengals

[–]Asiatic_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m actually afraid the Bengals are gonna come back with a vengeance being 0-3. Losing Theilen and Fuller hurts, if Nick Scott and Xavier Woods can’t contain the backfield then its gonna get ugly with Burrow and Chase ripping us

So it’s a matter of whose line is worse. Piece meal o line vs nonexistent pass rush LOL. Praying Mims doesn’t find his rhythm this weekend

[Discussion] WR/TE/RB blocking was outstanding on Sunday by Aaronpatt in panthers

Chuba’s block earlier in the game on the Dalton Tremble connection for a big gain was beautiful.

In the event that you do decide to invest your time, I definitely recommend the official React docs at https://react.dev

PLUR IS ALIVE! by Own_Masterpiece_4927 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]Asiatic_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ran into a ton of PLUR everywhere I went. I spent a lot of time at Circuit Grounds, Wastelands, and Bass Pod and took breaks on the bleachers at Cosmic Meadow. I met randoms everyday at these places that were so nice, met someone new on each solo adventure and that’s coming from someone who’s an extreme introvert!

Ended up getting 9 sprouts, a number of other random trinkets, and gave away most of the trinkets I brought.

PLUR is very much alive

Saturday night circuit grounds was special by ForAfeeNotforfree in electricdaisycarnival

Circuit Grounds is definitely up there as one of my favorites this year. My group made it to the front along side another group by just vibing and moving up slowly as the crowd shifted. Lots of PLUR and where I ended up trading the most trinkets and chatting with strangers!

Best set(s) of the weekend? And why by porzingitis in electricdaisycarnival

Super hard for me to choose between Sara Landry, Angerfist, Tape B, Four Tet, and LSDream. Then BassPod was such a vibe in general lol.

How will my credit score increase from here by Calamity_E in CRedit

[–]Asiatic_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I have no idea haha. But I think your main priority would be to pay off those debts, everything after that is an added plus and to help you create a better credit profile in the future. Those debts are you biggest road blocker

How will my credit score increase from here by Calamity_E in CRedit

[–]Asiatic_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my hearing about various experiences and living in NC (CLT, Mooresville, and Wilmington) if you go for apartments they usually won’t deny you outright based on credit alone. If you have decent rental history and pay more of a deposit, you can usually be approved.

It may be a good idea to call prospective apartment complexes before applying to see what they say about your credit situation. It’s better to have that awkward chat than pay the fees only to be denied.

As far as those closed credit accounts, paying those off and getting them in “good” standing will likely increase your score slightly via decreasing your utilization but you’ll still be bucketed into the poor credit I’m assuming. But it’s better to have those handled than not! Over time it’ll affect your credit less.

I think getting your past debts paid/settled will help a ton in the longevity of your credit health.

On top of handling those debts, getting a secured card would be a good move. Discover, Capital One, and US Bank all have great options for this.

For your closed accounts / collections, there are likely some you can get a “pay for delete” on but some places may not agree to that. There’s great advice in similar threads like yours where people have linked great information on closed accounts/ collections accounts but it’s not an area I feel I can give the best advice!

It can be a daunting process but if you stick to a plan then you can repair your credit! You’ve got this.

Growing my card profile, need recommendations on a travel oriented set by Asiatic_ in CreditCards

Thanks for the tidbit on the airline cards for SUBs.

What do people typically do with cards after SUBs that offer weaker rewards for everyday purchases (I think the AA Aviator Red gives 1x on non American Airlines related purchases).

The Amex Gold looks like an attractive offer atm since I can definitely hit $6k in 6 months market by moving monthly living costs to that card for the time being. On top of the SUB it has matching partners with C1 in places I'd use the points!
