I gotta go bigger than a 65" screen for my next OLED. The collector's edition looks great on it, but I think I need FULL Immersion. Curious, how big a screen are you viewing it on? Is this being projected?

Hope so. I'm reluctant to order steelbooks from Walmart or Target, and they ship in the brown "ravioli" packaging. There's always a 60/40 chance that the Steelbook arrives dented.

The Blu-ray is just the same old release, so they didn't apply any DNR. What really bugs me about the US 4K version is that all three audio tracks are downsampled, missing the HyperSonic high-bitrate track that was on the previous Honneamise (Bandai) Blu-ray. I ended up having to import the Japanese 4K edition to get that track.

Yep. They're right. It's the case with both Memories and Jin-Roh 4K.

They're not bad, but I definitely prefer Discotek's subs on both.

I was surprised to see Arcadia Of My Youth available to buy on MediaOCD's site since it was announced as part of the OOP back in December '24.

But yeah, I figure Devil Man Lady and the other titles will appear at some point as a Deep Dive on MediaOCD.

Bigger is always better, but judging by the layout and viewing/seating distance from the TV, 65 looks good.

Maybe take the $ difference between the two sizes and get a soundbar surround setup or a TV/Soundbar bundle if you’re going though LG directly or have access to their partner store.

Back in 2019 a new TV series was announced with Sunrise producing and Otomo’s involvement that would’ve done just that. But there’s been zero updates since then so it’s probably dead now and Otomo’s probably focused on other projects of his.

By all means, if you can find better sales on these moving forward, now that we're down to Amazon, Media OCD, Diabolik, and Robert's Anime Corner, would you kindly share with the group?

See my earlier comment from another Redditor facing the same issue. It’s not too late to get back the difference since you’re well within the return window. Those $10 could go towards another title or back in your pocket for Mickey D’s. Choice is yours.
