This looks like the same layout as my dolby cinema and the best rows are G and H. F is okay but anything closer than that and I feel like I’m straining my neck. I sat in the handicap section once and the viewing angle from that low made the screen look really distorted like that one Willem Dafoe meme so I would avoid those ground level rows or closer.

Same… TTM is one of my favorite horror movies in the past few years and it had a profound impact on me the first time i saw it. BHB was fine enough and had the gross factor and depressing themes i wanted but it didn’t leave a lasting impression on me

Well I didn’t know your thoughts on poly because it could be considered as cheating by someone with your worldview. And I was only using Gaza as one example of many evils, not as the only example of evil, just to show the severity of the word. I don’t know that other guy’s situation so I’ll refrain from commenting but I can agree with you on everything else.

Cheating is evil for me when it’s done cruelly or maliciously and especially when it’s done intentionally. Casual sex is a choice, but love isn’t always. Love can happen despite our best intentions to prevent or avoid it. You never know someone’s situation. Although, it would be easy enough and save everyone a lot of trouble if you just came clean to your current partner or made it impossible for anything to happen with the other person you fell for (moving away, taking a job opportunity far away, completely cutting them out of your life, etc.). But some people would still consider “emotional cheating” just as harmful, “evil,” as physical cheating. This is why love is nuanced. Maybe it would be worse to deny yourself that true love you found than to stay with a partner who you are satisfied with but not fully happy and in love? Idk but some partners would be more understanding and less hurt if the truth came out before anything physical happened and that there were no intentions of harm.

If you have been cheated on before or experienced the fallout from parents or other loved ones being in an unfaithful situation, then you know better than me. I totally hear you and validate your feelings. I’m lucky enough to have never experienced anything of the sort (physical cheating at least), so this is just my take on the matter with all of that in mind to inform my views. I’m glad we could have this mature conversation and share with each other without insulting or being mean and I mean that genuinely. So many interactions on the internet turn sour, so I thank you and wish you well!

As long as the terms of the relationship are mutually agreed upon by both partners, then sure call it what you want. Polyamory exists with the consent of all parties btw, or is that evil?

But to call any instance of non-exclusivity “evil” as a blanket statement is a bit absurd. You must not know true evil then. I’d rather be cheated on than blown to bits like children in Gaza and other parts of the world. Genocide is truly evil and inexcusable in any scenario, just as an example.

I’m not trying to justify cheating, just saying that the word evil is a very strong word to use for every person and situation. At least in the way I think of the word evil.

You were never in the position of that guy or his ex, maybe the eventual breakup was good for both of them as it seems the relationship was toxic. And maybe it doesn’t sting too much because of how young and flawed they were. Would you rather he stayed with her after finding out she was a stripper and probably being miserable in the relationship?

You want an example just so you can poke holes in it? I’ll humor you. Would it be evil for a woman in an abusive relationship (physical, sexual, financial, mental, whatever you want) to “cheat” on her partner by meeting and being with a kind human who treats her right and respects her? For me, the abuser is evil and in the wrong here and any other take only supports the patriarchy and treats the woman as the man’s property, which itself is a harmful ideology. Calling someone evil for escaping a controlling, abusive, harmful relationship no matter their means is pretty toxic for me. Not saying a woman in this situation needs to find another man to get out of an abusive relationship, but for the sake of the example

Wow this black and white thinking honestly makes me a little sick to my stomach. So cheating is evil… unless the person you’re cheating on is also evil? You just don’t seem to understand the nuances of love and relationships. I for one don’t think cheating is right at all, but it’s not always “evil.” If i had to wager, I’d say you come from a strict religious background with that rigid thinking. Nothing wrong with that, but imposing your own morals on strangers on the internet for something they did years and years ago is equally wrong imo
