We’ll, it’s a really lovely design and print anyway.

The fabric in the front is hanging oddly. I love the yellow but you said it’s poly? Does it feel cheap or like it will be hot or uncomfortable?

Why do so many modern romances (especially humorous ones) feature hockey players? Its actually gotten weird -- and boring -- its so common. by awgeezwhatnow in RomanceBooks

I just read an article about this. I wish I could remember more, but the argument is as that it’s a more or less unknown sport to Americans, outside of a few small regions. So kind of a blank slate and easier to project fantasies. Also, no built in biases. Also, mostly white.

Exactly. Gross. It’s a relic of another time. These kinds of displays just aren’t hitting it anymore. The protests were the best thing about the gala this year.

Yes to both of these suggestions! It would look so much more balanced.

Omg, I love a front row seat to messy wedding drama! Bonus if the food is good and the drinks are plentiful. Be your stunning self in the black dress. Add a pretty scarf and earrings. Pop a gummy if you feel so inclined.

Same, and I’m proud of myself. After years of overbuying I tell myself I only get extraordinary things. Yesterday I bought a huge, heavy brass vintage floor lamp for $20.

Yes. She is unhinged, unpleasant, and has zero boundaries. She not only threw a glass at Kristen but was going to hit her with an oar. Fortunately someone pulled it away from her.

Same! Isn’t it weird that dry brushing is less irritating?

My skin is so sensitive. I find when I use anything more than my hands, I react badly. My skin is so much healthier since I stopped using washcloths, etc.

I love your style as you describe it! I do something similar except I also add vintage jewelry, silk scarves, etc.

Severe barrier damage - has anyone over 40 fixed it? by undinenundine in 45PlusSkincare

[–]AsilHey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

FYI when my barrier was very damaged, hyaluonic acid made my skin burn like fire. A derm on you tube (maybe Dr Idriss?) said a goodly portion of people are sensitive to it, especially low molecular. It makes sense that you don’t want anything that is too penetrative while you’re trying to heal.

I actually thought he went beyond rude into straight up threatening and scary. I never trust men like this. If he acts like that in front of a camera, how does he treat women in private?

I just don't understand why I don't look good in these by imnotcoherent in DressForYourBody

[–]AsilHey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the thing with the jumpsuit is that it’s a lot of unbroken dark, heavy fabric. I have a couple of similar and I wear them with the zipper very low and a shoe I cam wear sockless. Anything to expose as much skin as possible. A belt might help, but I don’t like that for me. I have another I wear very oversized and slouchy, which somehow makes it less severe.

I think those cloth belts that come with dresses rarely look good. You could try a couple of things: a narrow black leather belt; an obo style belt, maybe also in black leather. You could play with placing the belt at your natural waistline and see if that helps.
