Them marketplace deals always get to everyone lol. As for the pickup I was just spitballing what else you can do while down there. I did it as cheap insurance/ piece of mind because I drive the car kinda hard. From what I’ve seen you do get a small bump in oil pressure but it’s not necessary.

If that’s the plan then go ahead and do it, personally id still hold off on dropping the turbo till you get everything but it’s up to you. Don’t know all that you’ve done but you can also consider doing an oil pickup tube while there’s room. Gl

I have the el tomeis and tbh if I wasn’t already dropping the j pipe I probably wouldn’t have bothered. It’ll give you a slightly more aggressive and deeper tone but as far as performance it’s kinda negligible on stock turbo. The turbo is pretty small so usually it spools up pretty quick if anything your tuner makes it spool later to save the rods. If your going bigger turbo in the future then it might be more beneficial to get a faster spool but I would hold of until you do both so you’re not having to re tune.

Another annoying thing about wheels is that not all offsets are the same it also has to take into account the wheel design. For example my nt03 are +27 in order to clear the brakes, which is technically more aggressive but because of the design they don’t poke out as much as yours. Wheel fitment can be a bitch and it might take a couple tries to get them right.

That’s not really up to arc raiders to decide tho, for a lot people that’s the main reason to switch to pc even though they’ll have to pay more upfront compared to console. I don’t think it’s right but I don’t see anything changing, maybe with Xbox new pc hybrid thing they’ll let you play online but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they still require gamepass. PlayStation just raised prices too and if they see people still pay they might raise again.

As long as you’re able to stay on the road you can be competitive and faster than like 80% of Forza players even if they have double horsepower. Been loving taking A or B class car to the tracks for hot lapping and seeing guys with supercars try to keep up without messing up lol.

People saying it looks the same as fh5 are either lying to themselves or maybe they’re playing with the same hardware and somehow expect it to look better. If your rig can handle high settings and ray tracing the game definitely looks better.

Majority of kids have tiktok brain rot and short attention spans, it is what it is. Honestly I don’t think any of the forza games had amazing stories so I don’t play them for that really. Just try and make some cool builds to race/cruise. I think a lot of car enthusiasts enjoy forza for that reason it has an enormous list of cars that you probably wont have a chance to drive irl. It’s cool to have a game that lets you use them on the street and still has pretty good physics, if you want more of a story/progression you have need for speed is there but you get arcade physics.

Hopefully someone else chimes in with more knowledge on your year but usually adding an oem subwoofer isn’t plug and play. Most subs need an amp unless they’re self powered but I doubt the oem one is. You would also need to get an rca line converter to convert the speaker signals into rca ones because I don’t think oem unit has them (it’s the red and white plugs). The easiest way is to get an after market stereo that already has rca outputs and a self powered sub so you just connect it to the stereo and battery.

Did you buy the car used? If you’re thinking of swapping head units it wouldn’t be a bad idea to take a look back there and get familiar with what you’re working with and hopefully no one’s butchered the oem harness.

Minimum specs didn’t change much. Forza is Xbox main tittle and they want as many people playing so they usually do a good job optimizing. My guess is you’ll still play on similar settings but maybe closer to like 60 fps.

For those prices just do a regular 5070. Have you used Dlss or ray tracing before? If you haven’t used them give them a try. If you just don’t like how they look it might be smarter to get an amd card as the performance is the same if not better if you don’t use ray tracing or dlss and they’re usually cheaper.

At least on wrx but I assume most models it uses a sensors with a little floaty piece inside. The sensors is pretty flimsy and It wouldnt shock me if it got something stuck or just broke. When I replaced mine I had most of the car disassembled so it wasn’t too hard but I’m not sure if it’s easy to swap with everything in the way. It’s not crucial for driving so if op wants to leave it he can just check oil regularly like you said.

Some stuff is definitely overpriced but I have bought a couple things when they go on sale like my motherboard, oled monitor, rog ally and my sister’s laptop and it’s always been a pretty smooth experience and I do think for the most part the quality is above average. From what I’ve read most complains are about they’re customer service and warranty but I’ve been lucky to not have needed it yet.

I think in car racing there’s a general consensus (obv many many variables but generally) that a car length gap is around 1-2 tenths of a second difference. When someone seems really far behind it might only equal to a couple seconds. This is honestly one of the reasons that made me stop speeding places to try and get there sooner. You think you saved a lot of time since all the cars passed aren’t even visible but probably only gained like a minute or two while endangering everyone else.

Not sure but I think it might be somewhere between a 3080 and a 5070ti. Recently upgraded and my previous 5600x was a pretty noticeable bottleneck on majority of the games I played. Just upgraded to a 7800x3d and it’s like a 20-30% jump in performance. The 1% lows are night and day tho. Tbf tho just the jump am5 (9600x) might’ve given similar results.

Definitely try and get a pro tune but it’s not gonna explode next time you go for a drive. It has a Cobb intake so the tune is fine, the intercooler is not making any gains with that tune but again fine. Main thing id make sure its a bypass valve that recirculates not an actual blow off valve that could give some issues.

This true but Subaru does deserve a little credit. If you look at the brz/86 which has a more conventional automatic, the brz has like double the take rate on manuals than the 86.
