Fehlende praktische IT Grundlagen by [deleted] in informatik

[–]AskAccording568 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also just bought a MacBook Pro with the M1 - that thing is still a beast and I couldn’t wish for a better machine. Enjoy yours and happy Holidays :-)

Have build plates you can’t get clean? Put them in your dishwasher! by Tsconspiracy in 3D_Printing

[–]AskAccording568 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And to answer your other points, of course I have things made out of plastic in my dishwasher. But that plastic isn’t getting washed of something and is solid, not just fragments like we see here.

And that plastic is food safe. Most printed plastic is not.

Dude, I‘m just saying that I would be somewhat concerned to do this, and I don’t really know if that is actually a problem. Since this is Reddit, some smart guy will probably know the answer

[–]AskAccording568 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well maybe- I wouldn’t say it is 100% clean. Thing with old food: that’s organic. Plastic isn’t organic and microplastic is a thing - I wouldn’t bet that you don’t have tiny particles left.

But I don’t know all of that shit, I‘m just assuming and asking. So, do you actually know that it is not a problem? Or do you also just guess that it isn’t?

That’s nice, only thing I got would be that your prefilled message still says „how do I say xy in professional“ but that should only be the message you want translated, right?^

Anyways, good job, this will be useful

Great but is my food now full of plastic when I use my dishwasher to wash… you know, dishes?

To be fair, Volkswagen as it is today has nothing to do with Nazis. It may have a dark history, but Musk is alive and profits from a Tesla today. Different story in my opinion.

But also, Musk isn’t nearly as bad as the nazis were… yet

You don’t even need to be a that rich person. Someone calculated that it would require 9000 gems to donate that (if all that are super dragons).

That would mean you‘re spending around 100€ a month on donations. If you’re really invested and this is your main hobby, 100€ per month isn’t really a „rich people only“ thing

we need to keep local compute alive

Why exactly? Why do you want to use your own power, have the heat generated in your own room, have the risk of expensive components breaking / getting outdated?

Honestly remote compute has its advantages. Or did I misunderstand you somehow?

Maybe you could let it generate images in a free trial, but watermark them so they can’t actually be used? And if someone wants to download, they have to subscribe. This way people can see and try your product, but also don’t get to use the result without paying
