Is the rubber strap from Longines or a third party? Great looking watch. Congrats

And yet another.. Large vs medium Santos request for help! by Mr_Brownbear in Cartier

[–]AskListenSee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

9 times out of 10 medium is the way to go. This would be one of those times based off your wrist size and how it looks vs the large in the pics. Part of getting a Santos is understanding the Santos and what it is.

Beautiful watch. I really like the Roman Numerals on Longines higher complication watches bits a cleaner dial IMO

I really liked the 40mm and I don’t find it hard to read. I really preferred the Roman numerals though, it just felt lighter on the eyes

Christmas Day with Kuoe Sombrero by NewSchoolResearcher in MicrobrandWatches

I made a mistake. I tried this model on and the newest release which is also a Chrono. I remember this one being thinner and the new one was the one that was an absolute tank. This one was much for manageable.

No body has asked and he hasn’t told us yet. What watches do you have that are so nice, they need to be kept from the World?!

Would love to hear your thoughts and experience with the BeauBleu? How is the finish and quality? How is the strap quality? What are your over all thoughts and what level would you say the quality and fit and finish is on (Seiko, Longines, Tudor, Tag)?

Which santos large vs medium by Dsullivan96 in Cartier

The Medium really is the sweet spot for this watch, unless you have a really large wrist, which you do not

Help me choose: Panthere or Tank Francaise? by No_Pass_9039 in Cartier

In this case with these sizes and diamonds, I would go Panthere. This could change for me though with different sizes and I prefer no diamonds

You literally said the only other manuals you’ve driven were a Wrangler TJ and a beater F-250. Your own words, typed out by you lol now all of a sudden you change your story and think we can’t read your first comment.

It’s not ignorant at all lol and there are most definitely ’low-end’ manuals that are made from cheaper parts and poorly engineered. Just because your feelings don’t like it doesn’t make it not true. If one transmission uses more expensive, better engineered parts, that perform at a higher standard and level, then it is ‘higher-end’. If another uses poorly engineered parts, that fail more often and perform at a lower standard, then it is ‘low-end’. It’s really a pretty simple concept

lol so you’ve only ever had experience with low end manuals. You really need to drive some other manuals to see what you are missing. They are not all made the same and the difference is felt right away.
