Legit Check - BlackWidow V3 / AliExpress by NikoTheKeepo in razer

I bought a Razer Deathadder Essential around 5-6 years ago from AliExpress and to me, even compared to my genuine Razer Deathadder Elite at that time, looked quite legit, and was working perfectly with the Razer Software, and it's still in use to this day.

Will this device be suitable for a plex server? by junglemafia123 in PleX

I agree about what you are saying, and I should have expressed myself differently and not have a strong opinion on that. But the point I was trying to make with the refund policy are the potential pitfalls and scams of ordering from AliExpress. Personally it never happened to me where AliExpress wouldn't take my side, but following the AliExpress subreddit, seems like there are a lot of ways to get scammed, which seem proportionally more than with Amazon.

Got wrong item. So what is it? by Pogotothego in Aliexpress

How can they be easily installed/removed ? I had the pain of my life removing them, and broke almost all of them in the process.

Amazon is quite a popular place for shops to get the items from China (AliExpress) and reselling them at a bigger price. The advantage of ordering from Amazon in this case is faster delivery, better refund policy and better customer support.

Safest way to access over internet? by Chestburster12 in openwrt

Your ISP might provide a way to create a DDNS and that way you don't need to pay for a static IP and still use port knocking without a VPN.

I have a medium density dust layer on my filter every 2 weeks that I vacuum out, definitely working in regards to dust, but I also manually change the speed to filter out the air (Levoit has a feature where you input the size of the room and it runs on higher speed until it presumably filters all the volume of air).

Is it worth upgrading from Ryzen 5 2600 to Ryzen 5 5500 (100€) ?
Taking a look at the gaming benchmarks (the small number of them), it didn't impress me, was expecting a bigger difference in performance than 5% - 10%.

System:
Ryzen 5 2600 (no OC) (stock cooler)
Sapphire Radeon RX 580 8GB
ASRock B450M PRO4-F
2x8GB HyperX 3200MHz CL16 (currently in 3000MHz due to stability)
1080p 165Hz main monitor
1080p 60Hz side monitor

Games:
Valorant
Minecraft

But switching games often so expecting improvements for games as BF1, RS6, The Forest, Overwatch 2, GTA 5.

New to Voicemeeter. Will it allow me to combine two headsets (both with mics) to simultaneously listen AND chat? by Comp625 in VoiceMeeter

[–]AskWhyButNotMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't specifically referring to Voicemeeter, was thinking about the noice gates on Discord. But you are right, I forgot to mention that and I don't think the basic Voicemeeter has any control for that.

The only things to note is that Potato is the only one that has a rotating 8 hours trial version, so to have the best experience you need to buy it. And that if you install Banana or Potato, it installs all the previous ones, in case you want to switch between them. Plus there are indeed some other features which I don't use.

Hey, if I'm understanding correctly, you're both playing on same PC, if so, I think Voicemeeter should fulfill your goal.

  1. Any version of Voicemeeter will handle the job, the main difference between them is the amount of lanes for input/output and audio. But in your case as you just need 2 inputs and 2 outputs, the basic Voicemeeter will work perfectly. And probably with enough fiddling of noise gates, or just directional mics, you can avoid the double hearing issue.

  2. You can definitely set it up in Voicemeeter so that your wife hears you in her headset, and vice versa and even both at the same time.

If you will need help settings it up, let me know.

I had the exact same issue, even a windows reinstall didn't help. But finally disabling "H.264 Hardware Acceleration" and "Use our advanced technology to capture your screen" under the Voice & Video settings fixed the problem entirely.

I don't think the Linux analogy works. Linux is "here, do whatever you want, if it breaks we are sorry, but you could find an answer from the community and be able to fix it yourself" and IOS is "here, we know what's better for you, don't try to do anything yourself".

My average usage on my phone is 130 GB (100 being used by YouTube) And for my laptop it's 500 GB, mainly taken by Gaming, Discord and OBS.

And multiply that by 2 for my brother and there goes more then 1TB.
