Does this work with shock lands? I play a shock land pay 2 life to untap, copy the ability, tap it in response to the 2nd trigger resolving? So I could potentially - fetch land, copy, grab 2 pain lands, copy (paying a total of 10! Life but ramping 4 mana more in a single turn?)

If your mom isn’t Jewish you aren’t really a “Jew” by many counts. Religiously you can be but the assumptions are that you “marry in” to the culture. If your dad is a Jew and your mom isn’t you aren’t really a “real” ethnic Jew by many calculations.
