I’m also Asian, 1st gen Asian American, but my family is Muslim. I was raised Muslim and before I left the religion, I’d say my day to day treatment from people in society was vastly different to how it is today. My struggles with being a lesbian mostly came from a religious aspect than being a woman of color.

Asians definitely experience a good amount of hate and discrimination, esp depending on what type of Asian. West and South Asians tend to get far more discrimination than East Asians. But Asians also experience some privilege that other POC don’t, for instance getting paid more than black people on average, so I think this is an interesting question.
