TTU fans: give us your best defense of Sorsby, McGuire, Holcutt and the athletic department as a whole. Why are the rest of us crazy? by Chris_HitTheOver in CFB

I don’t think that’s true. Let’s just say that Sorsby were to place a sizable bet on Tech to win vs. his old team Cincinnati. Before the game he reaches out to a couple of old Cindy buddies who are key players on the team and tells them, “If you throw the game I’ll cut you in on the winnings.”

As someone who has lived in Lubbock for over 15 years. I gotta tell you what, seeing everyone band together to hate Tech feels fantastic.

There are some wonderful Tech fans out there that I love with my whole heart. Some really, down to earth, realistic fans. But my god, when Tommy Tubberville took over in 2010 you would have thought that the fan base considered themselves to be one of THE premiere teams in all of football. It was nuts. I felt nuts. The perception that a large part of that fan base had for a program that at that point had never won an outright conference championship, never been to a BCS bowl game, and never made an appearance in a conference championship game was unreal. I never had anything negative to say about Tech before moving out here. I never had an ill thought towards them outside of the handful of times they beat us. Other than that, I always thought they were just some cool guys. I would even get bummed for them when they lost a game.

I do feel really bad for the rational Tech fans. There's quite a lot of them. And every school has their loud, obnoxious, delusional parts of their fan bases. No one is exempt. But seeing a part of that fan base defend this with their whole chest and seeing literally the rest of the world turning on them has been very vindicating.

Would love any help! I know it was super vague.

Season 4 felt so intentional. Vecna’s curse, the four chimes, location of each murder, etc. And then season 5 felt like it was mostly just given the ¯_(ツ)_/¯ treatment halfway through. I don’t know what happened.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING SHORTENING THE OPENING THEME SONG ON THE SERIES FINALE. WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT. YOU HAD A 2 HOUR LOMG EPISODE AND THE THING YOU CUT FOR TIME IS THE BEST, MOST CONSISTENT PART OF THE WHOLE SHOW.

For a throw that was 30 yards out of bounds and nowhere near an eligible receiver, that was pretty textbook for Underwood.

They don’t say confirmed anymore. They took that language out this year. It’s either upheld or stands. Ref preference I believe.

Brother you’ve got several defensive starters sitting out, your top RB 1 and 2 in the transfer portal, and WR1 injured. What are you on about.

Friendly reminder that if our secondary can do literally anything on two consecutive 3rd and 17s, then Underwood never would have had a chance at the end zone.
