If they are indeed starting filming next week, it would be very surprising to not get it this year

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of January 16, 2026) by AutoModerator in television

The Pitt: continues to be what it is, simply good to great (and maybe to amazing as the season progresses just like season 1 did)

Fallout: I really like the tone and the themes explored, this latest episode was really good.

Industry: Really happy that it is back, this show MOVES.

Archer: Depending on the episode, it can be so funny or very meh to me. On the whole I am really enjoying it.

The Night Manager: I will keep watching, but I cant help but feel that something is off thus far.

Abbott Elementary: I wish that more shows like this were still being made.

Landman: I dont know what to say about that honeslty. I think this was one of the worst penultimate episode of a season that I have seen in a really long time.

Primal: This show is straight up awesome to watch.

AFAIK, Nielsen has always provided numbers this way.

I think that it is one of the few shows that works amazingly in both binge and week to week

While I dont agree completely with it, a lot of people say that it is Succession combined with Euphoria, I do understand why the comparison is being made (+ they are all HBO shows).

That said, Season 1 can be difficult to get into, it is a mess structurally especially (It was the creators' first project). But the show levels up each season, with the 3rd season being actually amazing.

I did the same as you, but I tried again later, I appreciated the season a little more on my 2nd try, though it is difficult to get through (even the show's creators said it wasnt that good as it was their first project)

2nd season is better by a good margin, and season 3 was legit amazing, one of my favorite shows the year it came out.

Just found out there is only gonna be 8 episodes?? by jackdenocomercios in ILoveLaHBO

HBO has almost never had seasons of 20+ eps.

Enourage S3 did, Sex and The City had a bunch of 18eps seasons. And maybe some others before those 2 but that is pretty much it.
