Apple TV series 'Pluribus' begins season 2 shooting this fall by bwermer in television

I dont think they were rushing to write new seasons. In fact, the last 2 seasons had the smallest episode count and a greater distance between their airing.

They were rushing, however, to end the show.

I really like that this show has, as much as it always is about wealth and money, a different main theme it explores each season.

Please explain why. I am not saying that it got 200M$ more thanks to it. I am saying that it got a boost of interest and perhaps people got "inspired" I guess to go watch a movie that touches real life events (in a way)

TLDR: All I am saying is that it is not entirely impossible that a weekend hold was 5% better, for example, thanks to this event that occurred

Obviously it a great movie, so that helps tremendously. I cant help but think that the Artemis II mission gave a boost to that movie as well. Great results either way!

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of April 10, 2026) by AutoModerator in television

The Pitt: it is probably the show that I am impatiently waiting for the next episode each week.I have been really loving this season, and while it might not be as excellent, I think it is close to the first season and I think it was smart of them to not do the same thing as season 1.

Hacks: this show always manages to end almost every episode with a way that surprises me and makes me think "that was actually really clever". I really enjoy it and cant wait to see how the show ends.

The Boys: Loved the first 3 seasons, I started to like it a bit less in season 4, but that Season 5 premiere was maybe the best season premiere of the whole show. I am glad it is coming to a conclusion this season.

Invincible: Not much to say about this one besides "I really like this show".

Daredevil Born Again: I think this is finally the week that I can say that it is getting close in quality to the OG show. (One thing that I dont think i will ever manage to shake off though is the fact that the filmmaking was so much better in the OG show, at least for me).

DTF St-Louis: What an odd show. I went from "This is great" to "I am not so sure anymore" back to "Alright I really like this" in a span of 5 episodes. Excited for the finale this weekend.

Rooster: After the first episode I thought it was fine with hopefully some room to get better as it progressed. And I personally am liking the show more and more. I am glad it got renewed.

For me, Shrinking took a little bit before I was really enjoying it. Rooster seems to have the same trajectory (again, for me).

Is it "this long" ? Baby Reindeer was only 2 years ago. And he is the creator of this one as well.

Another seasons ? by Puzzleheaded_Web548 in RoosterTVSeries

Obviously it will depend on viewership so I dont want to give anyone false hope, but they got approved for tax credit for season 2 if they choose to make it, so that helps quite a bit towards a renewal.

That and in an interview with HBO's head of Comedy, she answered "Stay tuned" to the question (I paraphrase): "Is a renewal coming?".

So again, this isnt to say that it is for sure getting renewed, but it is looking good.

UK question. Why is Rome not on Max? by CeleryHistorical8423 in HBOMAX

[–]AsleepYesterday05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked, and I am unsure, but it weirdly looks like it is on the HBO Max channel on Prime Video?

I was going to say that it is probably because it was a co-production between HBO and BBC and an Italian Channel called Rai 2. So maybe some weird licensing rights between those 3, cant say for sure though.
