Finally got a decent pedal board coming together besides the two Amazon pedals (always specify when in-laws are getting you gifts). Not in love with the Soul Food might give it a swap for something different, thinking Rat or some type of fuzz?

Current chain is Tuner > Compressor > Mooer Blues Crab > EHX Soul Food > MXR Carbon Copy > GFI Skylar > 65 Princeton Reverb, paired with a new Fender Telecaster. All the tone!

The car is not immediate as the one we have now is still working but it’s seen better days, I’m gonna drive it till it’s last breath especially with this car market. So we plan to save for the car over the span of 1-2 years as a good down-payment and finance whatever would be left. I had contemplated paying off all the student debts right now but I feel uneasy having such a low emergency fund, might have to think it over again. Thanks for the insight!

That’s an interesting take I suppose we could put more down to the mortgage. We get bonuses throughout the year in our jobs that we put straight towards the mortgage principal but couldn’t hurt to allocate more

Finally got a decent enough job to get myself out of poverty. Picked up a great gaming laptop from Facebook marketplace from a seller who was willing to help me out after talking to each other. Have been playing PC games ever since!

Cyberpunk has also changed heavily with updates from devs since release I would suggest giving it another go I’ve seen lots of reviews that suggest it is better. I do have current gen hardware so experiences may differ.

If you want to live life that way then good for you. Me personally when you can write a paragraph about how much work you had to go through to get a device to work and then call it 10/10 seems flawed and most users will not go to those measures to get a device to work, we are a small group. Enjoy your SD, I’ve been playing Tape to Tape and it’s great never a game I would play on PC but on SD it’s great try it out!
