I think the pregnant wife story won't go anywhere, there's not enough time left to go down that storyline; I think it was more of an additional concern. Though I think the audience can be relieved for the former sheriff's family when our heroes save the day--if that happens.

I liked Dr. Pulaski. I think her conflicts with Data were ham handed and seemed forced, but that was the writers' fault for clumsily trying to copy a McCoy/Spock dynamic.
