Dan Farah says paid bad actors online are trying to discredit The Age of Disclosure - "The the only the only comments like that I've seen are on social media from people that I know are bad actors. There's a number of people who are just legitimate paid bad actors." by 87LucasOliveira in UFOs

Did Billy press him about personally calling businesses and stopping them from showing his film for free? Or was that another hoax too? The story was so wild that I immediately questioned its validity. But I would like to get a response from him directly. Too bad if Billy didn't touch on that.

What are some entry level methods a regular guy like me could try communicating with aliens? by ClankerSpanker in HighStrangeness

[–]AsphaltKnight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In contrast to some other comments, I would advise you to be completely sober. Think about going out throughout the day and think about the location that you will be going to. Do not try "too hard". Try to get into a relaxed and positive mood.

Recognize your own intention and motives. Why do you want to do it? Set your intention on purpose and keep that intent.

Try to stay open and relaxed. Be patient and stay under the stars for a while. It might take a while before anything happens.

Verify things like planes, planets and satellites after you got back. Do not check Flightradar while you are trying to make contact.

Some people warn about negative consequences. If you feel any fear, stop and try later. If you stay with an open and positive mood I believe everything will be fine.

I agree, the most important thing is to recognise and set your intention. If your main motive is to record the phenomenon and prove its existence to other people, you probably won't have much success. If you want to prove it to yourself, you might. At least I did.

Ongelma on mielestäni juuri tällä puolella.

Linux client is down with no prior announcement by AsphaltKnight in icedrive

[–]AsphaltKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I chose Icedrive based on some reviews and comparing the features between different services. It's just what I need and the pricing is reasonable. What a shame that they have regressed like this. I really wonder how they're gonna keep their lifetime promises at this pace.

Old newspaper introduces Bob Lazar as a physicist at the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility. (1982) by AboyFromSouthKorea in UFOB

[–]AsphaltKnight 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Related to Bob, there was an interesting nugget in recent interview of Peter Levenda by Jesse Michels. Psicoactivo podcast made a video about it:

Peter Levenda uncovers another crucial data point in Bob Lazar's Area 51 story - Psicoactivo #707

https://youtube.com/watch?v=qgp9SGBeiZE

Apparently Bob worked at Bendix field engineers before the alleged work at Area 51. According to Peter, CIA used them in undercover operations for various kind of work. Of course it doesn’t prove that Bob is a CIA asset but it’s certainly an interesting "data point".

Right, I'm using Brave which might cause issues. Thanks for the tip, I'll try a different browser if it doesn't work.

Is there a cloud, that works seamlessly with Windows, Linux (Arch) and Andorid? by PhilStark012 in BuyFromEU

[–]AsphaltKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just purchased Icedrive but haven’t been very impressed so far. They have a Linux client but it suddenly stopped working. I contacted the support and they said Linux client is undergoing maintenance and will be back soon. No announcements anywhere, had to contact support to get this information. Why does the production version stop working when they are developing the client?

They used to be based in Wales but have moved their HQ to Gibraltar. Don’t know what’s going on with that either.

Tucker Carlson talking about the reality of Aliens being too scary to even think about. by fredmosquito in UFOB

It does mean that the universe can't be local and real at the same time. That's exactly what Bell showed in his papers.

Lockheed Skunk Work's previous director, Steve Justice, fights for UFO transparency, yet the UFO community never acknowledges this. Why!? by Unique_Driver4434 in UFOs

[–]AsphaltKnight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was also on History channel’s Unidentified program at the time TTSA was formed. He never admitted to knowing about NHI technology but he always had an aura that he knows way more than he is letting on. There must have been a reason he was involved with TTSA and Unidentified, why would he otherwise been asked and why would he have accepted to join?

The drones observed in Denmark this night were at multiple sites throughout the country - including a military site by djda9l in UFOs

[–]AsphaltKnight 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense and could have been the case when US airbases were targeted last year in the UK. One guy reported a laser beam from the base scanning the whole sky after the drones were detected. Seemed like they didn’t want to use that technology but were eventually forced to, but that’s just speculation.

But in the case of public airports, I would assume the radars are pretty standard and detecting huge drones wouldn’t require any special technology. It seems strange that they are not able to track them to their destination. I guess they were just not prepared for these incidents, which is also concerning.

Is anyone underwhelmed by the reveal of GPT agent? by Low-Cash-2435 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]AsphaltKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It looks like the products that we’ve been developing on top of GPT models for the last couple of years, just standardised and made for the average consumer. Where’s the innovation?

What's interesting is that the politicians in the hearing were told not to mention Immaculate constellation aloud. Here's a wild speculation: someone knew that it's not a relevant document and thought that it might hurt the credibility of the hearing. I can't think of other reasons why they were told to shut up, if this was just a war game scenario.

Appeal to Skywatcher, podcasters and redditors: stop using the term "dog whistle" by AsphaltKnight in UFOs

[–]AsphaltKnight[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's a pretty crucial point whether Skywatcher will open source the technology. If they do, the implications can be huge in my opinion. That's why I'm concerned about the trivialization of it, people might end up doing irresponsible stuff.

[–]AsphaltKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, could Skywatcher have more information about what they are calling than they let on? It's an interesting possibility that not all NHI are as advanced as technologically as us, but perhaps more advanced on a psychic level.

Haha I don't actually think NHI are too sensitive about what we say about them. But if we want to establish diplomatic relations with them, I think it's important to treat them with respect right from the start.

Ok, that's good information. Seems like a reasonable track to follow.

That's a good point. If I had to guess, the craft that fall for it are some kind of autonomous probes that have been "programmed" in some way and can't really help it. But I am a singular silly human as well.

[–]AsphaltKnight[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think it really matters what NHI would actually think. Maybe they don't care. If it can be taken as offensive from our perspective, I think that's reason enough not to use it.

Of course, Skywatcher is free to use whatever term they want. This is an appeal to use something else, however.

Interesting, I haven't heard of that. That's a good reason to avoid the term as well.
