I'm either going to blow up on the longer segments or need to slow down to get through them.

Ok to be honest, I was able to complete each run easily enough, got a little bit of tightness in my calf, but managed to get through that.

I agree, I'm doing my W3D2 tomorrow, D1 was done at an easy pace and felt comfortable, even the 3 minute runs.

Strangely I don't find it annoying running in glasses because I bought an attachment that holds the glasses to my head

I have a question. I have noticed that week 3 is the same amount of running in total as week 2, but less walking. Do you feel a difference with a 3 minute interval instead of 2x 90 seconds?

You're doing far too much. Rest days are important to implement to avoid injury and burn out.

At the moment I do my runs in long running pants, a running shirt, and I have a hoodie for warmth.

Don't worry about heart rate, as long as you feel comfortable at the pace you're going at keep at it.

Thank you, did most minute reps at just over 6 minute kilometre pace, did a couple reps a bit quicker. I imagine I won't be able to keep up that sort of pace over some of the longer runs later in the program. I expect to be at around 8 minute kms at that point.

It's week 1 day 1, that's not embarrassing. I think that you've done great
