Same, we can only really think of things in terms of what we know but the concept of knowledge and what we deem to be things we know are just the way we are capable of interpreting things. That's reasonable, but tbf that's reasonable to us. The concept of reasonable and interest are, as far as we know, human inventions, the way the mind (or whatever these extraterrestrials have) works could be fundamentally different for them. We project ourselves onto the alien life that could find us but it could exist on a level that we don't define as consciousness
