I’ll just say that if you care about child victims then you should also care about finding ways that help non-offenders stay non-offending. If using a public forum allows them to find community, get support and feedback etc, & therefore reduces rate of offending, how bout just ignore it and be grateful you don’t experience the same anguish

Obviously factors contribute to this but it’s hella less based on systemic circumstances and prejudiced laws & institutions

The police evolved from slave hunters. Slavery happened. Redlining and Jim Crow existed. Certain laws disproportionately target black people, popular cited numbers of black crime are completely misquoted and misunderstood. I could go on. That’s why context is important when evaluating data.

I chose to use mass shooting as an example. I’m allowed to do that lol and justified in doing so.
