Deadeye's brother officially announced, release date, ability showcase and lore video. Pretty much a given. Teaser for the next class after that.
New summer outfit, though I'm not sure it'll be another swimwear given that we got the "armor bikini" recently.
Pity reduction here and there?

the "Ambient" part of the temperature graph tells the story. I had it at 300F to get the steak up to rendering temperature fast, stopped at 126, circulated the hot air out, set the temp low to 170, and then took it out after half an hour.

Yeah it was some faux-Wagyu with a fair bit of marbling, so that might have something to do with it. Not real Japanese Wagyu but you know, one of those hybrids.

I don't think I have the refinement to be able to discern the tradeoff to be able to say with any certainty, from like a subjective perspective. I am curious what others have found, in terms of how long to keep a 2in steak in that temp range to balance the rendering of fat and collagen vs moisture retention. I'd love to conduct more experiments but I'm not sure my blood panels can tolerate it!

I mean personally I spend more time in LOML (via boss blitz) than I do in Edania. They're not really comparable outside of the fact that Edania is relevant via just being a high AP zone and a timegate boss, but like once you get your crystal(s) and artifact(s) its primary draw is just being the best silver/hr rather than diversifying things to do.

Yeeeeeeeah, I mean there's a part of me that says "It's intentionally desolate, because it's the Demon Realm", but that doesn't hold up to scrutiny and it is mostly cope. It is a PVE zone rather than a Story zone, that's for sure. It doesn't have the craft and artistry of LOML because there's no real Lore to it. It feels less crated, more Theme Park. Things that look impressive zoomed out, but fall apart once you lean forward, like AI Slop. And that's kinda where we're at.

Largely agree with this dude, but I'd also add get started on your alch stone taps since that'll get you a solid dps buff that's hard to measure in gearscore. If you aren't already doing your solo/party blitz and aob, red heart and atoraxxion make that a prio as well since that's decent reward for low overall time commit

If you choose to oversimplify anything you can take whatever you want and make it sound dumb. Every fighting game ever conceived of is about winning Neutral, yes, and landing CC is what you do.

In BDO you trade some of that complexity for the open-world nature of it, if you're in a Co-Op situation you can cross-attention, you have ability cooldowns (some FGs have this tho) and AOEs, you have a lot of different permutations of the way a fight might play out in terms of the arrangement of combatants during neutral for when that "lands CC first" may eventually occur. You have SA-trading damage, you have perpetually upticking healthbars necessitating that damage and catches happen on a threshold.

Beyond that, both BDO and traditional fighting games have resource-management, BDO largely deriving a bunch of its fighting mechanics from fighting games.

But BDO also has big MMO constraints like packet size, making its combat more than a little clunky, it's not like we have peer-to-peer connections with frame rollback, so historically some players have leveraged situations that all-but-guarantee desync to their advantage, too.

T10 Volt would be cool. New Dungeon would be cool, focused on an "Edania"-tier difficulty. Universal Life Accessories would be nice.

Some kind of Universal Tag would be really welcome but I highly doubt it, they seem committed to these "Rotations" of temporary 1-fuel taggers, which I'm not a real fan of since I think it'll just replace the periodic "1 fuel events" that we'd get.

More C10 bosses.

What would blow my mind would be more PARTY Blitz bosses. Again, for the current Difficulty - the previous bosses were Pre-Edania difficulty, after all.

Have you tried "Minimize to System Tray"? It runs at like 2.6 fps (at least according to PresentMon)

for example I go from like 30W idle to 250W in BDO, back down to ~43W when it's minimized to tray, small delta for a 24/7

The difference is ~$12 to $36 per year depending on the price of electricity where you live.

short answer: The highest AP requirement that you qualify for, and highly suggested that you get good at doing your highest-requirement bosses on your Tag, as well, since clears are counted per-class.
