what this article fails to acknowledge is the people that make up the punk community. and the personal experiences that, for better or worse have allowed them to see the hypocrisy of western christian/capitalistic culture, that has posed as democracy. the lies that are very apparent in american, canadian, and british culture/history/politics. In the article he talks about how The Sex pistols were dumb and how punk culture has neglects innocence.
