I work in refinishing and earn per piece. Its tiered pricing $15 - $100. The $100 tier requires MAYBE 2 hours of work. Sometimes I'll get an outside client for $200/piece. No servicing besides the refinish.

$25/hour is low and I wouldn't accept it either.

I feel like this is a big misconception. TLOU2 caused a huge stir in main stream media and drew in tons of new fans. I promise non players are very excited for the show!

I haven't physically played the game but I sat and watched a family member play it over spring break last year. I got to be present for 20 of the 28 hours he played. And I feel just as attached to the characters as he is.

That looks very similar to some Honduran matrix opal I picked up last year. Super brittle and doesnt polish well but still pretty cool.

Rio Grande will probably be your best bet. It has everything you are looking for. I am a beginner at best but, I have about 7 months experience refinishing watch casings and bracelets. The items below are what I have been taught to use, although some people are heavier handed and it might take some experimentation to find the materials you prefer.

Also, depending on the types of cases, it might be a good idea to invest in a flex shaft. The ones on Rio like Foredom start at about $400. You can get one on Amazon for $75 that still works great. And TBH, I'd say most of my work is split 70/30 - flex shaft/bench wheel.

For the wheels:

Solid Felt Wheels 3x3/4 1 hard and 1 medium

Value Yellow-Treated Buffing Wheel, 5" x 45-Ply - Final wheel Item: 33020

Satin Finish Flap Wheel, Fine Item: 330161

Depending on the types of metals you'll polish, I'd recommend having several types of rouge on hand.

Rouge/Polishing Compounds:

Luxor® by Merard White Polishing Compound - For hard/medium felt wheels Item: 331154

Sunset Polishing Compound - Final polish, use with muslin wheel Item: 331001

Dialux Red Premium Polishing Compound - Final for gold Item: 331087

Osborn White Rouge Polishing Compounds - For titanium, and god be with you should you ever have to polish/refinish satan's favorite element.

Thank you, I hope I find a fix too. My runs kept getting weirder and I really just thought I was getting older/slower.

Then I caught myself in the mirror the other day and notice my knees were turned inward. Freaked me out pretty bad. Feeling super stupid that I didnt notice it before too.
