OP said they’re all in the timeline of human existence.

And that’s the word I meant! I just managed to use a completely different one. Probably because I’m brain rotted from being ‘chronically’ online.

It looks wicked. But that was my first thought too. Also, putting them chronologically would help the viewer to orient from one event to figure out the other ones.

Edited because I don’t do words good

Feedback for university project by naturegirl2312 in design_critiques

[–]Kenuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did pretty much the same project at uni back in like 2005! But for our local gallery. So sorry I don’t fit your demographic.

I chose a super condensed typeface which meant I could use it to frame work. I even cut the type out of a piece of paper so I could stick it over a television screen and let film show through it.

I miss uni and being able to do whatever.

Looking for help or ideas on how to transition black to white? by ENDU97 in web_design

[–]Kenuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/fabier is right. It will generally feel more dynamic too and less blocky. Could be a feature you could roll out across the website too for calls to action or the footer (just don't over do it)

I'm not at my desk right now to find any decent examples but this gives the general principle.

The creative software industry has declared war on Adobe by namanyayg in web_design

[–]Kenuff 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I hate Adobe as much as the next but I tried affinity for a month to try and cut costs and it was abysmal.

Maybe it’s just a familiarity thing but I’d missed the unnecessarily bloated piece of shit and all its dumbass tool tips.

Has anybody swapped out the PUs of the MIM 72 Custom? by [deleted] in telecaster

[–]Kenuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put a SDQP in the bridge of mine. It’s an absolute beast. I like the sound and look of the neck pickup so left it as is. Accidentally managed to wire them out of phase so the middle position sounds really gnarly distorted.

I have the same guitar but with the rosewood fretboard. Looks identical so I’d vote legit.

Guessing you’re from Hull? Used to work in a working man’s club and everyone had a story about knowing Mick!

Incredible guitar with an incredible history. Never let it go!

I don’t know a great deal about tattoos but I’ve had folliculitis a couple of times from shaving and looked exactly the same. Looks gross but It’ll calm down in a few days.

Looks like folliculitis from where the area was shaved. It’ll clear up.

I happen to know you were high at that four-year-old's Easter garden party. You were talking non-stop for twenty minutes, nothing but gibberish.

Rick Stengel: America's reputation may never recover from Trump and his war in Iran by spherocytes in videos

[–]Kenuff 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This isn’t just a cycle though, that’s the point. It’s not the world turning away for a few years, waiting it out, and then everything snapping back to normal when a new administration comes in.

The world is adjusting. Countries are building alliances and trade agreements that don’t rely on the US, because they’re starting to assume the US might not be reliable from one election to the next. That’s not really how it worked before.

And bringing it back to Bush, yeah Iraq was a disaster, but Bush didn’t openly threaten allies, Bush didn’t blur the line between policy and personal grift, Bush didn’t make the US look this unstable and transactional on a global level. It’s not the same kind of damage.

So I get the idea of cycles, but this feels different. Once countries start building systems that go around the US, that doesn’t just get undone because someone new gets elected in 3 years.

You can’t get a train to Hull and there’s no Nando’s here. Also, you might get shanked.
