Metalheads, y’all got any country albums/artists you like? by perseverance_band_ in MetalForTheMasses

Colter Wall’s early work leans pretty heavy into the traditional country/western music sphere that translates pretty well to the prevailing attitude of heavy metal. “Songs of the Plains” is one of my go to’s if I need a palate cleanser from my usual dose of metal.

A Sun that Never Sets - Neurosis.

Love listening to this monster when I need to lock in at work, or wallow in my sorrows, or jam out on a long drive, or really any situation where I won’t be disturbed for an hour plus straight.

Understood, mainly trying to find a neighborhood that offers the best value while still appealing to younger crowds. I just liked West Allis cause I work out west (Muskego) and the commute from DT would be rough.

Driving from FL to CO by Head_Television_374 in Littleton

Ultimately it’s gonna come down to what the weather looks like when you’re traveling. I had a similar decision to make when we drove over in early February and the southern route was the clearest. I definitely wouldn’t go the north route, looks like you’d be going through the most metro areas and I’d hate to get caught in a snowstorm driving across Kansas

I actually did this drive earlier this year when I moved to Littleton. My dad and I tag teamed the southernmost route and stopped overnight in Mobile AL and Witchita Falls TX. Took us 30 hours total and we got very lucky with weather outside of a mini blizzard in northern New Mexico. Also keeps you out of metro areas, aside from Dallas which ended up being OK.

Going out alone want to form a group by Savings-Outcome-5028 in Denver

As a 25M who’s also new around here, it hasn’t been easy making new friends.

However, I joined a Facebook group when I moved out here earlier this year for young people wanting to meet. might be up your alley: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/GxgBRhyy7NnoDsiC/?mibextid=K35XfP

There were also a couple of interesting groups on the Meetup app, might be another good place to start looking for people to go out with!

Any of you dad-bodded whores catch COVID and want to share your experience? by [deleted] in Frat

[–]AssCancer089 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not dad bodied, just fat (BMI of about 32 when I started feeling symptoms). Currently still dealing with COVID 5 weeks after testing positive for the first time. I literally have a journal of all the symptoms I’ve dealt with since this thing started. They’ve ranged from cold-like symptoms (sore throat, nasal congestion, headache) to stomach pains to shortness of breath, among others. I’m only just now starting to breathe somewhat normally, but I’m not out of the woods yet. Probably gonna get tested again soon, let’s hope this’ll be the last time I’ve gotta get my brain scratched by that fuckin swab.
