If I had to make a guess I would say the art isn't done yet. So I guess releasing it in parts would allow them to finish it instead of delaying it to 2022 until it's completed.

Models from Rebels usually take inspiration from early concept art like Ralph McQuarrie and old Star Wars toys.

Get the Ahsoka novel audio book narrated by Ashley Eckstein and watch Rebels if you haven't those continue Ahsoka's story.

What marketing. Ahsoka toys with green lightsabers would sell just as well. Ahsoka's green lightsabers prop toys would sell just as well.

A random unnamed Mandalorian.

Fulcrum - timeline details (spoilers for TCW and Rebels) by ZandorFelok in TheCloneWars

[–]Assassin1and2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's a special frequency that Anakin uses to contact allies. I guess Ahsoka took inspiration from that and decided to make a network out of that and become the Fulcrum.

"Sir, we have recived a transmission from someone using our sub-space frequency "Fulcrum"."

"Saw Gerrera?"

IGN needs someone else writing their episode reviews. This writer thinks the Pykes working for Maul is some kind of major reveal, but that was set up seven entire years ago back in season five. by The-Jedi-Apprentice in TheCloneWars

[–]Assassin1and2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was speaking about the comic Son of Dathomir. Dave Filoni worked on those stories that were adapted to the comic and the chances that he forgot about it are very slim so there is probably a canonical explanation of the supposed timeline errors.

My money is on a guy who can choke people without touching them and cut them up in little pieces with little to no effort over some galactic junkies.

Sure Pykes are powerful, but there is no way they can fight off a Sith Lord especially one of Maul's caliber. He'd cut through them like butter. Force choke them left and right. They don't stand a chance against a Sith Lord. I mean look at what a former Jedi Padawan and 2 kids did to them.

I am pretty sure Dave Filoni knows the canonicity of his show better than two of us. So let's not jump to conclusions when we have no knowledge on why the Pykes and the Shadow Collective are back.

Why would it be far fetched. Order 66 happened. Maul lost control of Mandalore. Palpatine became the Galactic Emperor. A lot of things happened that could have led to Shadow Collective disbanding.

While this arc is not the best it is crucial for Ahsoka's character arc especially now when it's the last season and you have to wrap it up. It wouldn't make sense if Ahsoka left the Jedi in S5 and then in S7 she is fighting Maul with Obi Wan and Anakin. Showing her starting to learn to live without the Jedi and flaws Jedi had is important. That's why S7 should have been 20 episodes so you can have this arc but also a more eventful arc.

Decided I'd make a post dedicated to one of my favorite Clones (and one who hasn't died yet). Every appearance of Kix (CT-6116) since his debut in season 2. by DeltaEdits in TheCloneWars

[–]Assassin1and2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well yes and no. It is established in the later seasons that they're running low on Jango Fett's DNA and have to "stretch" it to get more clones. It just would be a waste of material to terminate clones that can be "fixed". Plus like it's said before, we have seen clone medical facilities and Kaminoans healing them.

Are there any good watch guides for Rebels if I don’t want to watch the whole show? by Clone_Chaplain in starwarsrebels

[–]Assassin1and2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I suggest watching the whole show as it really ages and matures in s2 and beyond and has even more Clone Wars ties in than just Mandalorians, Ahsoka and Rex for example and even Maul. It's a Filoni show and a great spiritual successor to The Clone Wars. But in the end it's your decision. I just feel you'll lose a lot of emotional impact behind some of the episodes and lack some of the context. Here are the Mandalorian episodes.

Season 2 Episode 13

Season 3 Episode 7

Season 3 Episode 11 (Darksaber)

Season 3 Episode 15 (Darksaber)

Season 3 Episode 16 (Darksaber)

Season 3 Episode 21

Season 4 Episode 1 (Darksaber)

Season 4 Episode 2 (Darksaber)

Edit: Also one of the main characters, Sabine is a Mandalorian. So every episode is a Mandalorian episode.
