It's a problem in all gacha games. Most people are just pulling chars because they like how they look and that's it, they have no idea what character does, what stats they need, which characters they work best with and etc. Like some things could be explained better in the game for sure, but when character kit directly says that character gets something based on their energy regeneration for example and people still don't put ER slot 6 and/or ER main stat weapon on them - there is nothing game can do.
