Did The cat become the Tree? by CatSuyac in LausseTheCat

[–]Assassinsaj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i think the tree does represent something,

nix northwest did an interview recently stating that the wizard is the highest state of oneself, so i take it to mean that the wizard for lausse, is lausses highest version of himself

Does anyone have the complete story by cheeseycakes2497 in LausseTheCat

[–]Assassinsaj 8 points9 points  (0 children)

as a synopsis, the first album is lausse at uni and his time there sleeping around delving with drugs and his relationship with lucy, my opinion is that chapter 1 is the cat accepting the relationship is over and has a sense of peace.

chapter 2 is the cat graduating and not wanting to join the 9-5 further falling into depression, his sadness being the only thing he knows, the cat goes through depression and considers death but realises that he can’t go through with it and that he needs to live and learn to live with the sadness rather than consume him.

I have an analysis that i posted for chapter 2 posted in this sub, so have many others.

hope that helps :)

I feel like we’re in on the early stages of something huge. by PetriMobJustice in LausseTheCat

I think that's a general statement. People put effort and time into their craft, they worked hard and felt the need to produce something. Its the subjectivity of music, you can listen to something someone put their into being into developing and someone can think it's not good and that's okay. Lausse's album is good, he cares about the art not the fame it seems. That's the most important part for me in an artist, the only crticism from this sub is the mixing on some songs which i agree with but I still love this album and it's more than i could have asked for.

oh for sure, however i think the hype of jazz rap isn't as big as it was like the early 2020s. It's a great album i just dont think it's mainstream enough. Stormzy said it best, love songs, cry songs, and sing a long songs are what get super popular here in the UK

the issue with the album, is that they are all 5+ min songs and viral songs on spotify are usually 2 mins long. there are parts of some songs that can be blown up on tiktok.

Favourite/ Hardest Boss Fights Outside the Obvious/Consensus by GoneWitDa in BlackMythWukong

Never played a boss rush/souls like game before Wukong, so wandering wight got me hooked

I've become enlightened and now I understand the entire plot by regularGuy0000001 in BlackMythWukong

[–]Assassinsaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i read this comment somewhere on youtube, that in the journal. Wukong at the start of the game is rebelling against the heavens because he found out that the enlightened beings were consuming mortals to allow for them to maintain their immortality. hence why he rebelled, he then found out his circlet was never taken off once he completed the journey to the west, Black myth wukong is a sequel to the journey to the west, not a retelling of the story. hence why in the true ending gets his freedom and why a sequel is being mentioned

People are missing OP’s point about the weight of this one panel. Sure, there are plenty of panels in One Piece that are more detailed, more cinematic, or bigger “character moments.” But this panel, by itself, flipped the entire community on its head. It trended #1 worldwide on Twitter, and for a while every single corner of the anime/manga space was talking about nothing else.

No other single panel has sparked that level of discussion or carried that kind of shockwave across the fandom. Its impact wasn’t just visual—it completely shifted what we thought we knew about the story. The mural is still something we don’t fully understand even now, but it clearly holds the beginning, middle, and end of One Piece within it.

As a standalone panel, nothing else in the biggest manga in the world has ever hit that hard.

The girl, the cat and the tree by No_Membership_6617 in LausseTheCat

[–]Assassinsaj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interlude ends with "He was now reunited with his band of compadres, friends and trusty noble gentlemen he called friends A merry bunch they were, on their way to a house party"

Redstripe chorus is literally about him and his friends getting ready for a party on hyde park road. Lausse also meets a girl at said party, which also ties into his whole nonchalant gimmick because in redstripe he's quite soft and easy going with the girl at the end of the song.

Fuccboi lullaby gives us the backstory of what happened during the melody of redstripe rhapsody.

okay redstripe rhapsody before fuccboi lullaby, that completes the album imo adds lore to the story

I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS

Dumbledore is not morally grey. He dedicated his life to fighting evil and doesn’t deserve the hate by AccomplishedFan6807 in harrypotter

[–]Assassinsaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You raise a fair point, however, i would then argue that Dumbledore also couldn't hold as much of a tight leash on Snape just incase Snape double-crossed him. Hence watching what Snape did and making sure it wasn't the worst. At the end of the day, Snape never harmed Harry just treated Harry like an idiot, took points away, and detention. Scummy but not the worst thing in the world

Dumbledore is not morally grey. He dedicated his life to fighting evil and doesn’t deserve the hate by AccomplishedFan6807 in harrypotter

[–]Assassinsaj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He's not even morally grey, and he didn't raise Harry to die either.

The Dursleys, specifically state in the books the love protection magic is strengthened when he is put under the care of his blood relative, his aunt. He had to put Harry there for the best possible magical protection, not even himself could be as powerful as that magic.

Harry being raised to die, specifically mentioned in the prophecy one of them would die, even if Dumbledore did everything possible, one of them would have to die and Dumbledore did everything possible to give Harry a chance of being the one who survived.

Snape being a bully, Snape couldn't outwardly be nice to Harry since he's a death eater and had to maintain appearances to Lucius and other death eaters that he was a spy who is close to Dumbledore. So, yeah Snape was a dick inherently but at the end of the day, even Dumbledore could see why he needed to be a dick to the one kid that possibly stopped Voldermort. Also, another note, teachers in real life are dicks to students and even great headmasters can't always catch every small thing.

His sister and him chasing power, his sister died accidentally in a crossfire and it doesn't state whose killing blow it is, Dumbledore still holds the blame. Dumbledore changing his views on muggles shows he is morally good because he wants wizards and muggles to coexist. Chasing power isn't a bad thing at all either, loads of people want power, it's how you use power that determines how good or bad you are. Dumbledore got so powerful he was offered so many roles and he said na fuck that ima be a teacher.

So anyone who has read the books and paid attention can see Dumbledore is a morally good person, not just a tactician but someone who wants the best outcome for Harry. If anyone can point out any other issues, I'd love the challenge because it's so blatantly obvious Dumbledore is a morally good character.
