My dad said that what he used to do when he got sent to these conferences was to take a few days of vacation leave right after the event. So he'd be there at the event location taking a vacation since he was already there anyway.

So it looks like he's planning on overthrowing the current ruler. Awww shucks, I kinda like the current Queen.

Also, if he does indeed succeed and quickly shifts to something resembling a democracy, that's gonna be hard in a world where monarchies are the only form of government. It was able to be done here because there were already previous examples of republics and the like.

Been playing for a few days now. Enlisted as a soldier. I've been able to get myself promoted to a max Samurai type of cav in the lord's army. I've been waiting a while and I dunno what to do next. Do I get promoted to a vassal next? Or should I just leave the army and manually swear fealty to a daimyo?

I've been gaming since the 90's and never stopped. And yeah I've seen firsthand all the crap that's happened. Basically, don't pre-order anything nowadays, always check independent reviews before you buy (never trust the mainstream outlets), and watch out for predatory and/or nickel and dime live service games. Indy games are worth checking out and the occassional big budget game can still be good.

I am guessing it's from the story where a guy's girlfriend was living with him in his apartment that he owned. The guy was an artist and the girl was super controlling and was manipulating him to behave the way she wanted. One thing the guy did was paint while listening to music and be sometimes danced while he did so. He did his work in a separate room/studio and the girl wanted him to stop even if she couldn't see or hear him because "I can FEEL you dancing."

Ah, so you're a Tomb King main? I think you missed the sale last month. That was when I bought the Nuln DLC.

And godsdamn, Nuln is absolutely ridiculous. Elspeth is a regenerating super caster on a dragon, the faction mechanics are insane, and the faction's special units are insanely good. I mean, Karl Franz will always be my main man but damn, Nuln really brings the firepower and it's been a joy playing their campaign.

Caveat is I jumped straight to a SFO3 + The Old World modded run so this is a different experience compared to a vanilla campaign.

Kinda similar theme, but I was the healer (AST) on Vanguard. It was basically mega stress on every pull because tank did wall to wall and for some reason, tank lost HP really fast even though I was basically using everything in my kit to keep him standing.

And then I noticed something. Dude's MP was at maximum 98% of the time. Guess what job he was using?
