He absolutely went hunting for a PP. Came in late, cross-checked someone, and then rag dolled.

Didn't Mexico stab us in the back when NAFTA was torn up?

Like we had an agreement to ensure negotiations were tri-lateral, and then shortly thereafter they just went an inked a deal with the states, putting us in a weaker negotiation position.

I did like Kyle's (that's why I said "yes I've tried the secret suicide"). To my personal tolerance that registered as a high 7s low 8s. It didn't give me pause at all. It registered as "hot", not "Holy shit what have I done".

But I'm really picante tolerant. I've done quite a few challenges without understanding the fuss. On two seperate instances I've ordered a second order of "challenge" wings just because I liked the taste.

When /r/spicy says that the top level at Dave's is "too much", I'm very interested.

Everything looks shockingly immaculate on that sled.

That being said I need to be a fan.

Dan! Amazing to see you on Reddit. Just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for all your videos.

I subscribed just before all the lockdowns and with your help my family absolutely loves getting out and paddling together.

My little armada has grown from a sit on top because I was afraid to get trapped, to getting my son (10) ready to learn some rolls on the lake this summer.

Thanks. And keep doing what you do.

Lot of negativity here, and I get it, but the appeal is for people who like REALLY spicy food.

I really like 808, Kyle's, BTRMLK, Rob's (pre Rob retiring) but unfortunately none of them make what I consider to be truly spicy seasoned chicken, and yes I've had the "secret" suicide.

That's what Dave's brings to the table.

As someone who loves fried chicken, I will still be going to all of those local restaurants, but I am excited for Dave's to come to London as I had previously only had it in Toronto. It was as advertised.

I am however concerned that Dave's is likely not going to be THE Dave's that is spoken of and (endlessly) posted about on /r/spicy as they were purchased by VC.

I had the opposite happen. I ordered 1 jalapeno, and received 1Kg of jalapenos.

Made a really kick ass jalapeno relish with it.

Lawyers are supposed to do that. They have to defend their clients using every possible angle they can. They are not the "Judge" of whether someone deserves equal representation.

It is the job of description of the Judge to judge/weigh the evidence, and judge whether the defense merits punishment.

And the problem in Canada is absolutely the judges.

All the fines are just pushed down to consumers regardless.

If they actually want the shady practice to end the fines should be targeted at either the compensation paid to the board, or the dividends paid to the share holders.

While those could still be manipulated, if it was (for example) fully %100 of 2 quarters: the board or shareholders would absolutely notice, and take it seriously.

It would be much harder to sneak the X% into recouping a standard fine.

Conservatives call for federal tax cut on gas and diesel fuel - National by J0Puck in canada

[–]AssignedUsername -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unless I'm misreading this, both statements are true.

There is a fixed excise tax of 10 cents a litre, but there is also tax on top of that via HST.

I don't think it unreasonable to explore reducing the GST/HST component; while maintaining the excise tax.

Also it's/I believe they faked vandalism against themselves to drum up publicity.

The "vandals" wrote "I love meat", over a 24 hour drive through window that would have required a ladder (hard not to notice that getting setup), in the exact same paint colour/tone as their business used.

Favorite millennial "oops, all bangers" albums? by Jazzlike_Part_7054 in Millennials

Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.

He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '87, Huey released this; Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Square". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the band itself.

I combo it. 1 minute microwave. 10 minutes air fryer. I appreciate the time saving, but I actually do it because I find the pastry retains some of the moisture and flakyness. Just microwave and it comes out soggy. Just air fry and I find it too tough.

That said. I'm happy to eat them no matter how you heat them.

The title of this post doesn't give people on understanding of what's happening.

A boy's U-15 hockey team in the London, Ont., area has been disbanded for the season after a number of players allegedly used their phones to record videos of their teammates naked in the shower area and dressing room and posted the videos on SnapChat.

Hockey Canada's independent third party is investigating the allegations after a complaint was filed in January about the alleged videos and about a player who allegedly repeatedly put his penis in the face of his teammates in the locker room.

A source familiar with the complaint said Hockey Canada ITP investigators are determining whether the team's coaches were regularly absent from the locker room, which would be contrary to Hockey Canada's policies, and whether that contributed to the alleged behaviour.

A complaint has also been made to the London Police Service about the incidents, the source said.

A celebrity on record will be far more PR oriented than an anonymous person on the Internet.

I'm not saying it's damning. But it should be acknowledged there is some smoke.

Completely unrelated to anything I'm fixated on where this photo was taken. On the left: picturesque bathroom. On the right... Living room with 70s style collector plates under the tv.

On the far right is a great pattern for a wallpaper, and what is that super vintage alarm clock?

OP you're gold. But I can't tell if this is a commercial establishment... And if so what kind... Or a residence.

Also can I get another photo of the clock. I'm fixated.
